    Hot Fix for online.

Sure the forum shows you howto port forward... but what about the REST of the resolve? In ORDERING(At least until they fix it) to play online steadily (85% roughly of successful gameplay) you will need to OPEN YOUR NAT. This is an XBOX/PS3 port so you need to OPEN YOUR NAT as if you played it on an xbox or ps3. To understand more, just look up Open my NAT in google or click this link: https://www.google.com/webhp?rlz=1C1...w=1920&bih=916.

IF you have a modem that doesn't have a built in router( you have both a modem and a router sitting next to each other), look up how to "BRIDGE" the connection between your modem and Router.
If you have ADSL, try this: NOTE(Steps 4 - 6 or whatever is not needed)http://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/adsl_mo...er_bridge_mode
If you have Cable, try this:GOOGLE!!! lol Cable modems seem to be more of a headache so you need to google your modem/router models then look up howto bridge them. DSL Is kinda easy as most are the same regardless of modem.(At least that is my experience.)

If you have a modem/router all-in-one setup, make sure your WAN to WAN, LAN to LAN, LAN to WAN, and WAN to LAN are all permitted. Look here, this can be a universal tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kvg6JDjLdkM

If you are in the RARE occasion where you are going from a router to a bridge or repeater via wireless, check this cool tutorial out as well: http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater_Bridge AND http://www.mydigitallife.info/turn-o...windows-vista/

Well that didn't work so well. I disabled NAT on the Modem/Router(its modem with router built in!), and spent 30minutes trying to get the bloody thing to respond afterwords. After disabling NAT it would no longer connect to the internet. I had to reset the bloody thing 3 times just to get ****er to allow me to re-enable the NAT feature because everytime I turned it back on and hit "Apply" it would just sit there with the an endless loading loop.

GRFS isn't the only thing trying to piss me off with endless loading loops it seems. Good ****ing fun. Starting to wish I had never used a computer and devoted my life to better things, I am abosolutely starting hate computers and all technology for that matter.

With a router built IN you dont need to bridge anything. Turn you firewall via router/modem off and make sure the ports are forwarded AND make sure you have WAN to LAN, LAN to LAN, WAN to WAN, and LAN to WAN all using the PERMIT option meaning they are never not allowed to work. By default most router/modems have half passable(PERMIT option) and half blocked. They all need to be Permitted. See here for a simple explanation(About half way through the vid):http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kvg6JDjLdkM

To be honest, Unless you follow these steps or have a tech do it for you, you cannot even play xbox live properly(Meaning you need an OPEN NAT to play games such as MW1-3 and bf3 with parties and NOT get disconnected).
I think back and kinda slap myself with how critical I have been in this forum even recently, then it hit me... this is a direct console port as we know, so we need our networks to be set up like that of a console for it to play right. Common sense that escapes us all at times.

Oh and thank you to whomever stuck this! We needed it.
