    Out of Curiosity.

Now, many of you may be Ace Combat fan's here on this forum. Ready to chew me out for this. But, to be honest. Many of you are in no position to say HAWX is a bad series, granted it did have a shaky start, and HAWX 2 was an improvement but it was going in the wrong direction. I am hoping for a sequel, if not at least a reboot. HAWX 1 was fast paced, and thrilling. While HAWX 2 was going for more of a flight sim type of feel.

Some of you may start calling out foul. But, if memory serves me right. A lot of the Ace Combat fans kept praising the hell out of Assault Horizon. Now to many of the AC fans, its a blasphemy (Honestly, give Project Aces some respect for trying something new.)

In short, are we ever going to see another game? Or are they just going to be cameos for the rest of the series?

    Hi,

(I guess out of boredom I repeatedly or convincingly will say the following.)

Yes HAWX is a cool game!

But that is all it is a cheap arcade game for the price they release these games nearly $100.00 you would expect more in my opinion, I mean more in the CD not that you have to go online and get more add-on's UPlay nonsense etc etc.

Now its not about disrespecting the Devs not at all, they did an awesome job with the HAWX series but the point is from a business and marketing point of view they build these games in less than 8 months of work if they release a game now days every year its only worthy of 8 months of effort into the game itself why because if you consider testing, marketing and simply creating these games not much in them at all, certainly not compared to the combat sims of the 1990's in my honest opinion, there are no cockpit workings, no carrier or airport bases to just land simply put more air force in combat pilot games, please.

So in acknowledging that the graphics, sounds and general game play, may offer the WoW effect, its combat sims like DCS-A10C, old Falcon 4.0 now BMS4.32 and Lock On are combat flight games that stand out more what is missing in them is a proper training module like a cadet or student pilot like in the Air Force and also simple arcade mode to allow users to build skill level, or simply play at arcade level for enjoyment and have the option to chose full simulation advance mode of play.

I mean these games could offer Arcade level and more realistic advance levels of play and like more simulated options like full engine spooling start up sequence, HUD with full working 3D clickable Cockpit, Arcade and realistic Carrier Operations I mean simply the option of going either way to play according to level of experience.

These gaming companies make millions in profit year by year check online here:- http://www.forbes.com/sites/johngaud...llion-in-2011/

I doubt this would ever happen thou it would take heaps of $$$$$$ and patience.

Point is if you like this in a game then fight for it:

    **** Lock ON SU-33

    **** BMS4.32

Now you could imagine it would be awesome to combine the efforts of all those types of games mentioned above HAWX / LockOn / DCS-A10 / BMS4.32 you would get a game that is for the masses arcade level of play and a sim level of play with many treats. All in one effort for all types of combat pilot sim or arcade gaming.

No short cuts just everything that you could imagine in a combat flight game with many aviation treats as well aerobatics, military transport or fuel tankers for mid air refueling etc etc just everything imaginable to aviation and combat pilots Air Force.

I mean I would really love to see the old Falcon 4.0 simulator revamped for 2013 release with arcade and simulator levels of play and heaps of online and offline campaigns, with a proper training instructor program like in FSX teaching you how to start an F-18 and drop bombs etc like TOP GUN pilot school.

Its really what is needed for the flight combat gaming enthusiasts like myself but there is very little, so its time for big companies like IGN, EA, UBISOFT etc to do this with good online servers.

Well just look into this I hope someone reads this and goes for it I would pay say $150.00 for such a game its worth it.

Look at the effort that Spectrum HoloByte went to produce Falcon 3.0:-

Well I rest my case just need better combat games PLEASE hear me someone out there in cyber space just mad nutter for combat games, its my new found hobby hehehehehe....

    Take care all - Razza
