How about an asylum? Has anyone played Thief: Deadly Shadows? There's a really creepy asylum level.

Buddhist Monastery high in the mountains of China. Monks going to get deleted and billed to the USA in some fashion. Co-op team has to insert and rescue several Monks at timed intervals to prevent detection and then retake the Monastery.

Insertion requires long rope climbs and lots of ledge hanging and climbing. The Paladin can't land anywhere close, a Helo would get detected in any reasonable proximity and parachuting into the monastery proper is a no go, not enough large landing zones and the ones that are, are heavily guarded. Only good way in is from the base of the mountain that is more lightly guarded.

for the night is dark and full of terrors

A Buddhist monastery could work. I think a castle might be better though. Say what you want about Modern Warfare 3 but the castle infiltration mission was one of the best stealth missions I've ever played. It was so atmospheric. I think a mission like that in Blacklist could be really good. Throw in rain and thunder/lightning where you have to move when it cracks and you've got an excellent mission. To be honest I think one of the things Call of Duty does well are stealth missions.

Anyway, missions I'd like to see are:

A plane mission (commerical or cargo)

Underwater missions (or at least infiltrate an AO by swimming)

A sinking ship mission (infiltrate the top, work your way to the bottom, bomb goes boom, ship starts to sink, you've gotta make your way through underwater passages to reach the surface)

    Aircraft carrier

City streets (think National Monument mission in Conviction but with full crowd blending)

Prison (break in to break someone out, maybe it could be the epilogue of Conviction where Sam rescues Vic)

    Jungle and Arctic

Underground bunker in Iraq (I was watching Three Kings the other day and thought that the bunker where Mark Wahlberg is held prisoner would be a great location for Blacklist)

Subway/Train (the train mission in Double Agent (PS2) was pretty good)

    Tora Bora cave system

One or two SEAL flashback missions (perhaps they could be the underwater missions)

I've got more but I don't wanna clog up the thread.

Please... please.... PLEASE!!! A snow mission!!!! Infiltrating a big base in the snowy mountains is always soooo cool!!!!! Something along the lines of the final dream level in inception that was awesome and it would be cool to see some camouflage mechanics implemented with blending into the snow, make it so UBISOFT!!!!!!

I agree. Funny thing, I'm watching Inception right this minute! I always enjoyed the snow level front he original Splinter Cell that was only on the PS2 version if I remember correctly. It was a nuclear power plant and Sam's Tac suit was all white.

I would actually like to see a mission where Sam meets his match. A Boss Battle if you'd like to think of it that way.

Kinda like the one with Emile in the last gen version of Double Agent in the New York mission or the one with Kobin in Kobin's Mansion. But in this Mission.....

The Boss is also a Predator. The area is in darkness. One on One.

    Just an idea though.

I would like to see a boss fight so long as it doesn't turn into a QTE. When I first read your post I thought of the grapple between Sam and Emile in the current gen version of Double Agent and not the fight on the rooftop. I think it could work. The only problem is the boss would have to be better than Sam otherwise it would be very one sided. He's a hard person to fight regardless of difficulty. The cargo plane fight in Conviction between Archer and Kestrel was a missed opportunity. If that mission could be played in one player as well as two then it would've made for an interesting mission. Knowing that this computer controlled character is hunting you would have made some intense gameplay.

@rooser82: How cool would it be to have a mission in which multiple international intelligence agencies are deployed to retrieve a certain important objective at the same time. So, you have to go in for it but Russia and China are going to be racing to get this "objective" as well. You'll have to infiltrate a complex and be up against one or more other spies/agents. Not only do you have the security to deal with but another trained operative!
