    System Freeze + Graphical Artifacts

    Hi! I'm encountering an issue any time I play the game for more than about 20 minutes. On any screen in-game (combat, town, overworld, &c.), the game will sometimes freeze, with the game having what looks like a repeated checkerboard of various colored artifacts.
    When this occurs, my entire computer locks up, and I cannot alt-f4 or ctrl-alt-del out of the game.

    I'm currently running a GTX 460 and a GTX470, both with 301.42 drivers. Any suggestions?

    Hey dude. I also had this problem. Are you using two monitors? If so, try running the game with only your primary monitor detected (your alternate monitor turned off). I did this and the freezes stopped. Clearly it's some kinda bug but this at least is a work-around.

    Incidentally, I'm using two 450 GTS.
