Angry josh waitzkin tutorial cannot pause

Hi. I have a problem with Josh waitzkin's tutorials on chessmaster 11. I cannot pause them once you begin the lesson. So when he is showing moves in succession I cannot remember them. You see i am a beginner and i would like to set up the positions he plays on another board to examine and think about. But i cant because i cannot pause the tutorial. This is in the academy in chessmaster 11. The tutorials are great, just wish i could pause them. Can ubisoft notify chessmaster and create a patch that would allow pausing. this shouldnt be too hard to fix. Also I am not sure how to turn off time when you are playing the computer, or any game turning off time. but i would still like the computer to move quickly.

Unfortunately, no updates are currently planned for Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition.

There's no in-game way to pause the tutorials. However, there is a work-around... if it isn't hidden, you can click on the Windows taskbar. This will stop the tutorial. You can then restart the tutorial by clicking on the "Replay" button. The downside is that it will play the entire tutorial again.

Your time question is a bit simpler. Chessmaster will always keep track of time, but you can experiment with the time controls to find one you prefer... this includes having separate time controls, so the personality will have a shorter shorter period than you have (this is for Training mode only). Just remember that if you handicap the personality, its playing strength will be affected.d

Also, don't change the time controls to infiinite time... the computer will take as much time as it desires, and you'll have to use 'Force Move' (Ctrl + F) to get the computer to move.

    Hope this helps,
