Help with Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Mac Problem>

I recently purchased Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Digital Deluxe Edition for the Mac off Steam for $10 during the Summer Sale. I purchased Assassin's Creed 2 on Steam a while back and everything works fine with that game; Ubisoft Game launcher worked too. But now with Brotherhood, not even the Game Launcher will open, so I can't play the game. All that happens is I click on the "Play" button for Brotherhood on Steam and an error opens up that says the following: "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood quit unexpectedly. Click reopen to open the application again." I clicked reopen and the same thing happened. Please, I need help. Also, I am running on Mac OS X 10.7.4.

Here are the minimum specs required to run the game:
OS X version Leopard 10.5.8, Snow Leopard 10.6.3, or later.
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06 GHz
    Memory: 3 GB
Graphics: 256 MB Dedicated Shader model 3.0 or higher (see supported list)
    Hard Drive: 9 GB
    Sound:
Note: This product does not support OS prior to Mac OS X 10.5. This product does not support Macs based on PowerPC CPU

I surpass all the specs with my mid-2011 iMac, so why won't it work? Thanks

Yeah, I just did the same and have the same problem. Uninstalled - re-installed and the ubisoft installer claims that it can't find the program. Lame.
