I am filing a refund request for 3 titles I bought. What a mistake.

Funny thing is, if I just downloaded the games illegally against my morale, I would be happily playing them. Instead I decided to be honest, as always, and got PISSED ALL OVER ME by Ubisoft.

As a thanks I'm filing a full refund request for the titles I couldnt play over weekend and yesterday on a second attempt, the uplay was down AGAIN!!

My response to Uplay? This is my support request:
I want my uplay account deleted. Uplay is a draconian form of DRM that I am unwilling to support. When you unilaterally control the time and circumstance in which I can play my games, stopping me from playing single player games because the online part of your service is faulty, then I would rather forfeit the game I own than support Uplay or Ubisoft any further. When your first response to a support ticket is to auto respond with a link to the faq on how to delete my account, I can only assume that you wish me to abandon your software. I feel the same. Ubisoft and it's product are unworthy of further support. When your stated aim is to deter pirating of your software, I can only assume that whomever decided that treating legitimate customers as potential thieves is not only incompetent, but an overpaid moron as well.

    1. Yes, I want my Uplay account to be completely deleted from the system.
    2. I am aware that my Ubisoft Games will be permanently banned.
    3. I also was informed, that any connections to services (Uplay, online saved games) will be irrevocably lost and these services will therefore no longer be available.
    4. I have no current orders from the UbiShop with this account.
    5. Once the account is deleted it can't be reinstated at any later time.
    6. I am aware of the consequences of the deletion and agree and accept the procedure of Ubisoft.
I will not support a company that treats me as a potential thief. Despite there being a number of Ubisoft games that I would like to play/purchase, I refuse to do so on Ubisoft's terms. I purchased Heroes VI during the Steam sale unaware of the Uplay requirement. Steam have given me a refund for that purchase.

Perfect! Finally Steam is going to put the money of AC:R to my Steam Wallet ^^.

Everyone who bought an Ubisoft game in Steam and can't play because the f*cking uPlay software, sent an email to request the money to your Steam Wallet.

Many thanks Ubisoft, I'm going to play AC:R but not giving money to this company, and well, I know what to do on the future AC III, new Splinter Cell, etc... : )
