Post Few Suggestions or My 0.02 Cents (Not Game Breaking)

    Greetings GRO Comunity.

So, just to start with, i've been participating in the last beta so far and i liked game very much and i guess i share this feeling with many many other people around.
And i also have some suggestions, maybe, they are already included in full release we just didnt had a chance to see them as this is closed beta.

    1) Weapon carrying
So, what to start with ... prob the thing that was bugging me most. Whenever you switch to grenades or pistol, your main weapon suddenly dissapears into your pocket (imma hidin an elephant mount in mah jeans) as this game promotes a tactical play and has included much higer and appriceated degree of realism, this .... probably a little bug, feels a little bit funny. Though the problem may be that the weapon mesh my collide with perks which are worn on backs (blitz or aegis) it could be placed just on top of the gadgets, or maybe made a little bit loose hanging on strap with barrel down. Or even, uniqe placement for each class so it wont colide with perks and will suit the "essence" of what class is channeling through it's appearance Let's say recon will have it's weapon completly on back Assault somehow strapped to his back under the blitz (HEAT isnt a problem) and specialist just right next to his gadget. But this is just a rough ideas.

    2) Armor camouflage
There are numerous armors in game, and each tier got different camouflage on it. But here is that little bug again. Why should i sacrefice the bonus stats for a better color pallete suiting the map ambient lighting. (Try desert camo on Oil Rig Station ... you're like a snow white yetti running behind an icecream truck ... which is also white) The basic armor suits this map much better. As you may have noticed, when you clicked on the armor for a deatials, you'll se a little window which states the color of camo .. Why not to keep each tier of armor just to increase stats of overall. And adding the ability to buy additional camouflages on the armors instead. With more advanced camouflages for higher tiers of armor.

    So it will go like
Tier 1 ... Basic and Woodland
Tier 2 ... Basic, Woodland, Desert, Afghan uniform
Tier 3 ... Basic, Woodland, Desert, Afghan uniform, Arctic, Black

And so on with having to buy camouflages again for each new tire of armor. With increased cost of course. So you can have One Top Tire Armor, with numerous camouflages that will only affect you cosmeticaly. Without the nescessarity of sacrifasing better stats.

    3) Weapon Camouflage
Well, that's just a minor thing and sure can be lived without but it would be a nice addition. WIth sprayed camo on weapons for specialist, assault and SMG. And ghilee camo for sniper rifles.

    4) More Maps. More Maps and Again More Maps
Well, i guess this is already planned, but make various maps, open spaces, city blocks, inside buildings, jungles, deserts, snowy outposts with the same straight forward design you showed on the maps that are already in game. You will be the best.

    5) More weapons ...
And you thought i wouldn't mention that.

    6) Takedowns
Ok, many people would disagree with me, and i will disagree too if they are thinking what i am thinking they are thinking (thinkception). No front takedowns, side takedowns and otherstuff, it's just too game breaking when you are running and someone around the corner will stick a knife in your throat with "Oh hai" even before you managed to get past the corner ... however ... when you manage to stay unnoticed, and the guy still keeps running forward and you start to stalk him from behind ... then that would be well earned stealthkill . But imagine someone camped behind a cover that was giving you a hard time with heavy fire on your position. You decided to take another route and actualy managed to get behind enemy lines and sneak on this guy ... What you gonna do now !? Shoot him ? Come on ... that's not the satisfaction we deserve. Melee !? It's not that effective and more like a last hope when you run out of ammo in close encounter. We need some kinds of stealth takedowns FROM BEHIND make some awesome animations and random variations with usage of hands/knife and other deadly things ghosts my use (i dont think they care above Geneva convention as long as the job is done) ... though there might be problems with Ratings later on :/ :/ But ... i am counting on you guys

    7) Flashbangs and Stun grenades
Ok ... well, idea is pretty str8 forward but it might be scrapped if it get's too gamebreaking when we take into account the game concept at the core

That's all i can think of now, if there will be more ideas i will sure post them. I hope you guys like the list. Its more cosmetic oriented Cause the game itself is absoulutly beast and i would like to see the concepts of close beta and the core idea behind GRO gamplay intact. Ofc you need some "progress" but always staying true to the great spirit GRO sewed into minds of us, players whom are very gratefull for the effort you put into this game.

But ... on the other hand the things i never ever want to see is this game turning into Call of Battlefield : DLC Warfare 7

    1. I am fine with this

    2. Camo is fine, but it gets changed for OPFOR. If you look at enemy camo, they all get gray variants of what you're wearing, basically nullifying camo anyways. It's more of a "Oh, hey, I look cool like this." look.

    3. Weapon Camo perhaps for the cash shop. Not critical.

    4. It's a beta, they plan to.

    5. There are at least twenty more weapon variants that were in CB2 that were removed temporarily.

    6. I must object to your statement that melee is ineffective. It isn't.

    OH, cool
About the gray armor, as far as i've seen they change to gray only upon death, the only difference i noticed so far meanwhile killing them was that they got all the blue ghost glow turned into red, and camo stayed intact. But correct me if i am wrong.

And about the melee, well, this is partialy true Sometimes it can hit for 100 damage and above, but sometimes, happend to me, that even though i punched them with melee 4 times (there was no any way to move closer to the enemy) i didnt do any damage at all, and they managed to turn around and kill me Lol .... but ... i think we both agree that it's not as satisfactional as some special killanimation.
After all Takedown > Bash ... simple equation By the way nice vido

But ... all and all, it's great

    I've seen up to 130.

They are grayer forms of standard armor. All the desert tan looks like gray camo on the opposing team. They turn stark white when they entirely die.

I'm not sure I would like a kill animation. It leaves you too open for being shot and takes too long.

Melee hits are hitbox dependent. Different regions do different damage, as below, something I found out and used repeatedly when I could.

I would prefer adding a taser as a secondary that kills a person in one hit, with slow reload and very short range.

They should make an achievement for this and call it nutcracker LOL And about the kill animations being too lenghty and rendering you exposed ... that's true but ... high risk "high reward" factor.
Now that i am lookin on screenshots ... you've been right about camos turning into a gray shade, but, that doesn't mean we cant look cool on our own screen x)

I'm all for camo, it just doesn't do anything on the maps. We might as well all wear pink and orange.
