Thread: [Official statement] Uplay PC login issues over the week-end | Forums

I am still unable to log in to online mode for Assassin's creed revelations. The error message reads incorrect username and password. UBISOFT please fix your stupid Uplay servers and for god's sake provide some good support. This should have never happened in the first place.

There's currently no reported issue with Uplay PC login. Could you try the following?

    - Uplay passwords are 16 characters long max. but the password field lets you type in more (will be fixed in the next update). If you have a long password, make sure you only type in the first 16 characters.
    - If you have tried to reset your password during the downtime on Sunday the 15th, some members have reported they were able to login to Uplay with their original password instead of the new one.

If this doesn't work please contact Support at http://support.ubi.com.

I have tried all the passwords i changed to. I changed a total of two times. First time, i changed from the game itself (which was freaking annoying by the way), second time i changed on the Uplay website.

So i tried logging in with the first, second and third passwords, still unable to.

    Any solution for this?

Thumbs up c'mon Ubi, throw me a bone here...! Why should we suffer from your ubilauncher again?

Uplay keeps destroying my Splinter Cell-Saves!

Thanks, Ubi$soft for treating your loyal customers like criminals!

I can't believe, that I have to live with this, caused by your broken ubi-laucher, server-issues and denied coop-play.

Somebody can tell me, why other companies can do it right, earning money without stripping you from your freedom to play?

But **** it... no karma-points for you, Ubi$oft. No Karma points for you!

    actually....
WHAT have you done, for the community, for your paying customers? Where is your Hand, your apology and step forward?

Letting some stranger take a p*ss on your router and destroying your phone isn't acceptable. But doing the same thing with our games and internet connectivity is ok? WHY should we take this? ....

    Thumbs up UBISOFT Support sucks!

The worst thing is that the ubisoft support takes their own bloody sweet time to reply the support ticket. It's been 2 days and they have yet to get back to me on my Uplay login issue. I just don't get why it's so difficult to to fix such a small issue. I regret buying those offer games from Ubisoft from steam. So much trouble!

Yeah, this uplay "service" is a total disaster, paralleled only by UBIs total failure to actually engage properly with their customers when problems occur. I'll never, ever buy another UBI game, regardless of platform. Bye!

    Update

    Hey guys,

I was ranting a lot recently on the poor Ubisoft support and their slow response. I decided to make things happen on my own and called a local distributor of Ubisoft games in Singapore.

My problem was that even though I was able to log in to the Uplay website, on the game I was not able to. So they advised me to uninstall the Uplay launcher from my Windows, then reinstall it. So after doing that, I launched the game again from Steam, then I was finally able to log in to Uplay this time.

So if you are experiencing the same problem as me, try what I did and see if it'll work for you.

And for the record, no help from Ubisoft on this matter at all. It was the local game distributor that came through for me with this simple instruction. So in conclusion, Ubisoft support still sucks.

It seems that I have a very weak connection to UPlay, but strong connection to everything else (origin, Steam etc.). Sometimes it says that the Ubisoft service is not available. Any help?

when your software can't even log in to your own god**** servers, then it's time to get rid of the software. Thank god I never bought a ubisoft game for godson for HIS birthday, because he couldn't handle the disappointment I'm feeling right now. I almost bought a slew of other ubisoft titles too because steam sales rock, luckily I decided against that. I could hardly wait for assassin's creed 3, but I'll never purchase it if this is what I have to look forward to. Thanks for nothing ubisoft, maybe a steep decline in sales will wake your incompetent drm staff up.
