What is the situation of MAC users? I have ACB thru Steam can't get it to start. And AC2 thru uplay, had those login problems reinstalled and now can't update the newest patch because UB server is down. When will it be up for MAC users?

Uplay can not connect, because your password is not valid, no good explanation, of course, then no link is working, we can not create an avatar, chat is zero since there not in the game, so it is nothing. PS I play assassin's creed a revelation.

How can this be resolved? I still can't login, due to an unavailable service.

If you purchased a game through the Steam summer sale I HIGHLYrecommend contacting Steam - originally I got nowhere with them but they just asked for my support log with Ubisoft (in all its VERY brief glory) and I also advised they check out this Uplay section because seriously, the topic titles on just the first page are hilarious. If enough people complain to Steam they will drop support to Ubisoft!! This will of course start Ubisoft into a very brief spiral into poverty. Might even nearly be as brief as the message I received from their support in regards to the weekend issue.

Either that or Ubisoft will actually have to put themselves into gear to get this all working. SERIOUSLY, FORGET UPLAY. It's not working and patching it obviously isn't working either. Patch your games to go through Steam until you sort it out properly, or you WILL lose your entire customer base. I'm sure everyone knows what happens to a company with no customers.

My response to Uplay? This is my support request:

I want my uplay account deleted. Uplay is a draconian form of DRM that I am unwilling to support. When you unilaterally control the time and circumstance in which I can play my games, stopping me from playing single player games because the online part of your service is faulty, then I would rather forfeit the game I own than support Uplay or Ubisoft any further. When your first response to a support ticket is to auto respond with a link to the faq on how to delete my account, I can only assume that you wish me to abandon your software. I feel the same. Ubisoft and it's product are unworthy of further support. When your stated aim is to deter pirating of your software, I can only assume that whomever decided that treating legitimate customers as potential thieves is not only incompetent, but an overpaid moron as well.

    1. Yes, I want my Uplay account to be completely deleted from the system.
    2. I am aware that my Ubisoft Games will be permanently banned.
    3. I also was informed, that any connections to services (Uplay, online saved games) will be irrevocably lost and these services will therefore no longer be available.
    4. I have no current orders from the UbiShop with this account.
    5. Once the account is deleted it can't be reinstated at any later time.
    6. I am aware of the consequences of the deletion and agree and accept the procedure of Ubisoft.
I will not support a company that treats me as a potential thief. Despite there being a number of Ubisoft games that I would like to play/purchase, I refuse to do so on Ubisoft's terms. I purchased Heroes VI during the Steam sale unaware of the Uplay requirement. Steam have given me a refund for that purchase.

As long as I've played games, I have to say that I am impressed with Assassins Creed and the storyline that it provided. So, I made a purchase recently for its sequel and I was still impressed. 2 nights ago, however, I was really confused as to why my progress was not being saved. I mean..c'mon guys. the number one complaint I've known of in games has to be that issue of lost progress amongst players. I can see in the 80's with the old Nintendo systems, but this is the next century for God's sake. I looked up these forums seeing others with same issues but no solutions thinking that it might be my PC. Granted, you game writers and your "copyright infringement worries and all but I own a PC to be free from the console conglomerates. If you all are going to run an antipiracy tactic like Uplay, there needs to be some eyes on the thing to prevent such a failure. At least feed the squirrel that turn that wheel so this don't happen again. Better yet, make sure this is proven before shoving this junk down our throats and telling us that we have to have it. Really, like the rest have been saying, A little notice to consumers would go a long way......well at least over waiting DAYS later that your system is flawed. It's kind of like me calling into work and telling my boss that will be late 3 days after I'm supposed to show up for my shift. Integrity gents. INTEGRITY.

I still can't login............I just bought AC:revelations and all I want is to play this game; what is all this "Uplay" nonsense if it prevents "U" from "playing"?

Every freaking time !!!! Stop modifying anything. Everything you modify makes the games stop working. And as usual the silence treatment. I still can't login on uplay, I don't think it even check my username/password it just keeps reloading the login box instantly as soon as I click login. Put back the old login if you can't make a functional one !!

    Thumbs up laughing out loud!

1.) logged in again after last weekend's Uplay-nightmare.
2.) found an ubisoft support answer: my issue is "solved"
3.) found an additional answer with an humble excuse, some mumbling about "server down", no mentioning of DRM, but the inevitable and nevertheless laughable statement "our first goal is your satisfaction and the best possible game experience for you" (translated from German)
4.) started Anno2007, got "Login failed - A Ubisoft service ist not available at the moment".
    5.) laughed
    6.) laughed histerically
7.) laughed, while doubting my mental health
8.) stopped laughing, switched off computer, turned to breakfast, promised myself to laugh again like that, when I will be reading about Ubisoft's bankruptcy. can't be far away.

yes we can now, but what I mean is that instead of telling us that our password is wrong, they simply tell us that their servers do not work for now.
