"failed to join friend" some developer info please

How can Ubi promote a game of team work when as a player you cant even assemble a team cause half the time the network wont let you join them. On a serious note can a developer, forum manager, Ubimush anybody give the community info about what is being done about this. And before you have a chance to say this I've messaged technical support, I've changed my firewall settings and opened my ports still not working. Ubisoft you've had your chance to turn around and blame the community ("change your port settings") for what is obviously a development issue. We already let that split screen campaign issue slide (and you know you was wrong for that). CAN WE THE COMMUNITY THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE PAID FOR THE PRODUCT GET SOME ANSWERS PLEASE

Hi, this is a known issue I'll enquire if there are any other suggestions other than opening ports.

    Hi,

Ubi-Mush asked about this and since she's off her shift now, I'm passing along what the answer is.

    A quote from Ubi-Brock:

Most of the issues revolving around this are related to having a “Restricted” or “Closed” NAT.

If a player’s NAT is not “open” there is a possibility of experiencing issues connecting to other players or hosts. This goes for all players attempting to connect (ie, both friends need to have their NAT set to Open, not just one of them)

So, you should make sure that your -- and your friends -- have their NAT set to Open.

It is very annoying, I added 5-6 guys from the forum (including THE-DOK) and I can't play with any of them. Now i just need to figure out how to open my NAT.

do you have MW3????? if so what does it say for your Nat in the multiplayer screen?????i might be wrong, but in my opinion if it says your nat is open there, then its not your Nat causing the issue.

I understand that both nat types of friends have to be the same and was told that this could be altered through changing the port settings. 2 of the several players I'm trying to join have changed their port settings as well. Don't get me wrong when I first done it last week it worked at first then out of nowhere during the weekend it stopped working, more importantly my profile/system never had the problem itself before last weeks patch. I'm not holding the patch responsible but that is when my particuliar account started having the problem.
