    The truth about the money.

Please read this Ubisoft. If this does not assist you in changing your cold-blooded ways then.... I'll be lost for words.

The money does not matter, from the point of view of a customer spending it on a minor product.
Money is just a Tool to be used.
Money for individuals within the scale of gaming is a meager amount.

    £4 - £40, what is that?
1 week from now, will that loss effect your life? (Sorry if you're homeless)
1 week from now, will you even remember dropping a £20 note on a bus ?

I paid £14.99 for, Anno 2070. From the STEAM summer sale. (All hail the almighty STEAM)

I played the game for an hour, got confused and did something else (I'm familiar with this pattern, I know I'll be back to play, day after day)
I really enjoyed the old game, Zeus: Masters of Olympus. It's ingenuity captivated me in a way I never knew possible. I completed that game 100% and I remember the steep learning curve that was not to be forced, which is why I gave Anno 2070 some space. These days I'm left reminiscing about that game and looking for modern updates on that genre, if it even had one! It was so unique.

By luck, and I say Luck because I had to play Anno 2070 before I could realise the similarities between the two games. By luck I found Anno 2070 and quickly saw 100's of hours of pure joy flash before my eyes. Not even hours, days, weeks, months and perhaps 2-4 years from now I'll re-install Anno 2070 for old-times-sake. The time spent day-dreaming as a young gamer, whilst captivated by Zeus's visuals, details and music will never be forgotten and the memories will often serve to make myself feel content about ones own short life being lived well.

Those 100's of hours of pure joy just ready to be lived, GONE, It's not happening, go away, shut up. What?! WHY!? Hey, WHY!!?!?! This is not the way it was meant to be, oh cruel fate!!

Uplay said you can't play. Not even that... They said nothing.
They want that £14.99 that you never knew existed so badly, your happiness and the ever depleting time left in your life is irrelevant.

    Enter the Internet.
    Read Ubisoft forums.
I knew it was too good to be true.
    Pages of complaints spanning years,
Only a mouthful of answers spanning seconds

£14.99, what was that? Did it even exist? Yeah, sure. The numbers were there in my bank account and the numbers were lower after I obtained Anno 2070 but..... Did I ever own that? Did I ever own those numbers? Will I ever own Anno 2070? I expected Anno 2070 to happen, I prepared myself for a year of happiness. What will I do now? Those numbers did exist, I felt Anno 2070 happen, It happened and it's out there somewhere! I've just got to find it again! Zeus! Where are you!!!!! Answer me, D@mn you!!!!!

(For the short time that Uplay has been in my life, I have gone insane.)
