Uplay passwords can ONLY be 16 chars long, whatever you may have registered on. Therefore, only enter the first 16 characters of your password. I had to shave the last # off my PW chain and lo, it worked (this was after updating my password twice!)

God knows why they even let you register a PW that's too long for the program.

Wow; I didn't know that. That appeared to be the case for me. Indeed, God knows why there is no error when you try to register a 16+ character password..
