    Entire screen goes dark

Hey, I am wondering if anyone can help me out with a problem I seem to be having with my the new Pirates Adventure pack. I run the standard game (and others) without any problems.

Because of some graphical error, I get this:

Kinda hard to play when I can't see what I'm doing. Once this weird graphical problem starts, even loading the old saves, the game continues to display wrong. The title screen even becomes dimmed like certain colors/light just don't work.

This happened in the original game on certain maps when my hero would reach certain destinations on the map. I was able to complete the game by reloading and avoiding those specific spots (happened on two maps). Now, with the new adventure pack, it happens every time I try to load the campaign from the very beginning.

I spent the whole afternoon reinstalling between watching the kids (had to re-install 6 patches in order too!) and the problem persists. I have also updated all my drivers to be the most up to date (updated after pics below)

I'm at a loss for what to do next to make this work. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd much appreciate it.

Not sure if this helps, but system/settings info:

Ok, I've fixed this the way Irina said. Just go to your Nvidia control panel and change the 3D configuration (Nvidia Optimus) to make Heroes VI use always the Nvidia card and not the integrated Intel HD family.

Actually I found this thread in trying to figure out a way to fix my own problem which happened to be the same as the one posted above.

Then I noticed this instruction: "go to your Nvidia control panel" however....

I have an intel graphics card.

So I figured there must be a way to fix this without having NVIDIA.

So what I did was when my screen went all dark, I opened up the options and changed the graphics resolution and hit apply.

VOILA. The lighting returned to normal.
Then I set my resolution back to normal and continued.

Hope this helps all you Intel users.
