Hi,
since I havent any general topic about beta impressions, I decided to create my own.
First of all, I am sorry for my english, it is not my native language.

I got my key 5 days before end of the beta so I have only lvl 5 Assault and lvl 3 Recon (I havent even tried the Specialist, he just doesnt look interesting enough).
First of all, I love it! The gameplay is great. Its even better than BF3 (and I like BF3 a lot). People use cover! I havent seen that even in R6 Vegas.
And I could continue, but I feel like I should talk more about things I would like to be tweaked.

Sprint - I am used to hold Shift when sprinting, but in GRO I have to just tap it. That causing me a lot of problems. For example: I am in cover > Greande fells next me > I turn away from cover, hold W and Shift to run out of there. And I die, because holding Shift caused I walked insted of sprinted. (I thought I have more complaints)

There is one more thing I would like to talk about - the stats screen and player stats generaly. It doesnt show kill/death ratio! KEEP IT THAT WAY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! When I am playing BF3, I get pissed off a lot because I am getting killed more then I would like to... U got the idea. And the reason I get pissed off is that I want my stats be good, so when someone sees them, he can say, he is really good player. I know, its stupid reason, but thats how I play MP games). But there, nobody is going investigate how many kills/deaths I have. Everybody just tap TAB to see how are they doing and dont care. And when others cant see my stats (they can but it takes I think one cklick and nobody does that in the middle of the fight). What I am trying to say - the way game shows stats is perfect and not stressing. I remember how we were getting pushed really badly, nearly nobody in our team killed anyone, we were dying all the time, but I still enjoyed it! I would ALT+F4 BF3 immediately. But there I just didnt care.

Yeah, I think thats all I wanted to say about GRO. I am looking forward to Open Beta and full game!

In my opinion the specialist is one of the most if not THE most interesting class in the game. You should give it a try when open beta starts

Then just set Shift to "Hold to sprint". It's right in the control options. By default it's set to "Toggle sprint"

They just removed that from the game with version 0.7.0. I really don't think they will put it in again

Is there really the option to Toggle sprint? I must be blind, because I was looking fo it.

Oh, I really wasnt execting that. I was looking for some kind of switcher. Thanks a lot!

They really can keep that kill death thing. It's too much information for anyone to care about. If a bunch of people start crying for it just tell 'em we aren't ate up like that and we're into the team winning thing. Sometimes I wonder if my sole purpose isn't to don a shield and knock down two or three before they get up and fry my butt. But it gets them exposed. Yeah I get killed all the time. Kill/Death for me is 4/2349. You think I'm jokin'!

I am actualy pretty good. Mostly with k/d around 2:1, just like in BF3, but when I have bad luck and stuff, I dont care (like I would in BF3).

@cirem Found it! Works perfectly!
I aleso tried the Specialist class, but still it just doesn fit my style. I like accurate assault rifles and the machine guns are just too much inaccurate for me. But the Aegis is pretty cool!
I love the Riot shild covering my back. It saved my life several times.

btw when is Open Beta going online?
