tell you what.. this game puts CS to shames.
few things I noticed playing it.

1. The water is awesome. Your arms move like your are swimming when you go in it. There are fish and other objects under the water. just awesome..

2. Lighting is great too. where it is dark it is really dark. You can only see the muzzle flash when someone is shooting at you.

3. Models look very nice, from the weapons to the people.

4. Explosions and other cool FX!!!!! stuff blowing up rocks.

5. The only other game that will kick it's *** is HL2. Go downlaod the HL2 movie!!!

6. The guys and girls from UBI are awesome!!! They helped me out with playing the game and pointed some cool stuff out.

well anyway.. if you have questions let me know...

Hey rooster,

Did you ask for system requirements or ask what kind of system was running the demo?

I noticed from screenshots and videos that indoor environments look just as good as that of Doom 3's. Can you compare the two?

I didn't ask what kind of system it was playing on, but I know that most of the pc games were on some high end systems. I'm sure that computer was up there. As for the inside of buildings of doom3 and far cry... doom3 is still a bit better, but doom3 wasn't even playable at E3. That got me mad. So who knows if you could even get that on a PC that most people have. The good news is that I asked them if I would need to upgrade my computer to play this game. I have a XP 2000, Radeon 9700 pro and 1.25 gigs of ram. The guy said that I would have no problem. So it will be optimized for lower end computers. Thank God!!!! One other game that I played that kicked *** was "call of duty". Check that game out too. There is a new Medal of Honor coming out too. I also got to play BF1942 secret weapons of WWII. Yes, It rocked... They set up a lan and I kicked all the noob's asses.. lol.. Another one to look at is the PC version of HALO... that was so much fun!!! I can't wait for that one. If I think of anymore games I will let you know.

3. Do u know anything about the MP side of this game? 32player? CTF TDM C&H?

4. Did u get to drive or fly? if so tell us about it.

Men of Valor: Didn't get a chance to play it.. I watched the movie. looks awesome.

Jedi Knight 3: They only had a movie there. .... looks fun!

Stalker: Played it!!!!... the AI sucked.. they said they were working on it.. it was in pre beta stage.. wont come out till Q1 2004... LOOKS GREAT!!!!! XRAY IS AWESOME!!!!

Planetside: I have been beta testing it. I don't like it. They have to work on a lot of stuff. There should never be a MM first person shooter anyway.

Wolrd of Warcraft: Played it... and can't wait to play it again!!!!!

XIII : played it. It's like being in a comic book.. game play is really fun.

The most I saw of HL2 was the outside of the little movie thing they had. It was a 5 hour wait to see the damn movie.
25 mins long and only 20 people at a time. Good job Valve!!!! good planing!!!! So I got home from E3 and look whats on fileplanet... yup the 25 min. movie, over 500 megs and all worth it. This game will the best thing ever..

You know what? I didn't even try that. LOL.. I just ran around and killed stuff. It was just one map. The map you see in the video. It is outside by a beach with lush trees, birds, great lighting and very good AI "that kicked my butt".

I think that was just a cut sceen.

There is going to be multiplayer? Yes there will be "I think" lol and it will most likely be the same old stuff.

No I didn't do any driving of flying. Like I said it was one map and I think it is the begining of the game. I would of played for longer but there was a line behind me.
damn game nerds... lol


well this is a kinda how the first map went. or the map I played.
you start out in this ship. you have to get out of the ship and there are people in there hiding in dark *** places waiting to kill you. when you find your way out you are on top of the deck of the ship. I tryed to sneek up on this guy to kill him but he herd me walking... so the wimp that I am I jumped off the boat into the water. There you will see wreakage of ships and planes, a reef and fish swimming around. so I swam uo to this dock.. bad news for me.. I had a hand gun and auto weapons are being fired on me. I hide under the dock for a bit and they are still shooting.. So I sucked it up and went for it. I killed about 3 guys then got my *** handed to me. DEAD.. that was about it. then the next guy cane up and he did about the same thing. There were some other maps, but I caught them out of the corner of my eye.. I was playing XIII on the xbox. One map looked like and Aztec type building. "for far cry that is"..
well thats about it... E3.. too many games... not too many hours to play them in.
