The Good Guys (tGg) aka Team Good Guys
Some may have heard me blabbing about a clan/team that will bring peace and harmony to all who play Ghost Recon Online............. probably not, maybe for some new players.
This is still in the works.
The goal of tGg:
-To help new players learn the game so that they can experience Ghost Recon Online as a community. I believe that......Matches where every player communicates, understands their class and abilities, the mechanics of the game and cover system, and plays as a team to capture or defend the objectives truly show the potential of this game. None of us had it easy growing up in the closed beta hood. I doesn't mean that it has to be that way for everyone.
-Big brother system: Get new players into a fireteam with experienced players. Show them the ropes. This will also serve as a way to prevent rage quitting and unbalanced matches. Players in a fireteam are less likely to rage quit. Hopefully having more fire teams will prevent unfair matches. I don't think that anyone really understands match making, but more players in a fire team can't hurt.
-Communicate: Every member will be required to use a mic. Besides the obvious benefit while in game, this is necessary to help keep track of players wanting to join a fire team. A supplimental chat server (team speak, mumble, paper cup and string, or similar) will be used until someone can dream up of something better. This will allow players just logging in to easily see who is in game and fire team up with team members. *This will by no means replace in game voice chat.
-Provide Class Balance: No fire team needs 4 recons. Team members can make requests that a specialist or assult jumps joins. What ever keeps the balance.
-Build the community: As the game developes and blossoms out of its Beta shell (with match making shining like the closed beta rewards pistol that everyone was striving for) and everything is perfect, tutorials and perfect match making will hopefully do its thing. Until then... Bring in tGg.
This is an idea and I need help from Closed Beta players in order to make this work. I am always open to constructive criticism and the team name is open for discussion.
