More Guns??? | Forums

Is it at all possible that there will be more guns/weapons installed through updates or Uplay? I could really look forward to a few like: M4A1 Carbine, MP-5 Submachine Gun, G36C Assault Rifle, SCAR Assault Rifle... All of these have a great potential in the Future Soldier game. All are extremely customizable on a great level. And can we make them available for both Campaign and Multiplayer (both co-op and online)? Really would like to see these in the game to use.

And I meant to mention in the original post... What about the M40A5, they have that as an option but I don't see it to use... Really want to use that sniper.

I think so, because I'd love to have the H&K416 in game, it's the assault rifle that's sorely missing imo.

i guess in my eyes the F2000 is kind of sub-standard and not what 'Ghosts' would really use, being U.S. Army...

· Ghost: Mk17 PDW <-- You wanted a SCAR, here it is, but they're probably going to do to it what they did to the M4 (aka Goblin) and mess up alot of it by shortening it and whatnot.


· Bodark: OCP-11 <-- Seems they are going to be using the Galil shortened version and calling it the OCP-11


SMGs
· Ghost: BT MP9

*Doubt they will be adding the HK416 to the game since they already included it's larger caliber brother (417).
M4A1 Carbine - Already covered the fact that the M4 is in the game, just that they made it a PDR and gave it a new moniker.

MP-5 Submachine Gun - so tired of this gun, but it does have quite a few amazing variants that I wouldn't mind seeing implemented into this game.

G36C Assault Rifle - This is a sweet gun, very light-weight, and already near-futuristic looking.

SCAR Assault Rifle - Is going to be added in the Actic Strike DLC (They're calling it the MK17, when in fact I bet it will be the MK16 chopped down like the M4/Goblin is)

No, the SCAR IS the MK17, it wont be the MK16S, the MK16S fires 5.56, and from the videos ive seen, its definitly not an MK16S/SCAR-L. However the MK17 in the videos has a different stock, i dont remember, but i believe it was/looked like the EBR's stock.

What i dont get is that Engineers right now are using PDW's and shotguns. an MK17 with the right attachments could be considered a DMR with a long barrel and proper optics, let alone firing what, 7.62x51? This should be a rifleman' weapon!
