I can't seem to get the trading thing right.
At the moment my hawkers in my trading office reach 90% on any instruction and just stop
I tell my traders to go to new trading places but I never seem to be able to do any trading? How do you get them to do anything?

I found the trading to be really confusing at first.

It would be helpful if I knew which mission or map you are playing.

Traders sent to open new trading posts do not return to the Export Office, so more traders must be recruited for each trade post you open. Traders sent to the port to trade garments or jewelry for coins do return to the Export Office. Traders sent to bribe sectors or fulfill quests also return to the Export Office.

There are multiple reasons for traders not reaching new trading posts, including:
- Not enough traders, each trading post on the trade board shows the number of traders required.
- Route to the port is blocked by an opponent
- Traders are too busy running to the port to exchange garments or jewelry for coins
- Traders will be delayed if they run into a sector where a battle is taking place
