    Complements to the audio/sound guys(s)!

I can't even begin to tell you how much I love the sound in this game, it's so interactive, accurate, and refined compared to a lot of games out there. For the most part the game sounds "mesh" together exceptionally well to create a good ambient and environmental feel. I'd really like to give props to the people who did the surround sound as well. The number of times I've been able to detect and kill cloaked Recon's purely because I can hear their footsteps is awesome.

I think this is a really undervalued part of the game, and I just wanted to give my congratulations to the person or persons in charge of getting it bang on! I don't normally notice much of a difference switching between surround and stereo in games, but it's a must in this game!

I like the sounds except the Model 10a appears to have blown out my eardrums.

Thanks for this Freelancer ... this has made the rounds at the office this morning, and you've put a big smile on the sound director's face (Jose "Beej" Cua PazII).

Man I thought I 'm the only one loving the sounds! I really like the quiet and loud moments, it feels like you're in a movie.

What I really enjoy about this game is how the audio guides the player to the game play. There is always a distinct and clear audio cue for everything. Foot steps, enemy abilities, missed shots, near/ far explosions!
GAWD!! its just awesome. If you pay attention with your ears, you can easily dominate. I recommend playing this game with a good speaker set-up.

I registered to this forum just because I saw this thread. I also want the sound guys to know that the sound of the game is really impressive. It takes talent and a good deal of creativity to come out with something fresh for a shooter. Specially with sound.

To the sound guys: I know that you used laser on some guns. lol

There is a noticeable improvement of the sound quality since the last beta. I really appreciate the efforts being pushed for the sound. It makes me enjoy the game more!
Model 10a is not so bad, just a bit loud, but I guess all shotguns are...no?
