Depends on what you need it to do. I'd guess you want it to play IL2:1946, what other uses?

Which games other than 1946? Some of them are fussy about which vid card, processor or how much memory.

Unless something has changed I'd say the best system is the one you do the research on and build yourself.. It is not as hard as it used to be.. and the resources are all over the place.. Consider doing it that way.. Even if you do not know much .. before it is all said and done you will.. and you will not regret it.. Seriously... You can take away some of the intimidation factor by finding an old pc and taking it apart.. and putting it back together.. It isn't that hard to do.. Then establish a budget with about a $100-$200 cushion (so say if your budget is $500 consider going as high as $700.. even if you have to hold off a few more weeks..) ask questions.. do some research ... and don't just use benchmarks but also consider reviews by folks who have bought whatever it is you are considering.. search the web looking for good buys.. get the pieces and put it all together.. If you have a decent monitor then all you will need to do is build the box.. MOBO (MotherBoard), CPU, RAM, GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) , PS (Power Supply) and case.. and maybe APU (Audio Processing Unit).. You won't be sorry and you will never buy a prebuilt box again.. or spend money on a "service plan" ..
