    Was doing a hotseat match for 7 hours straight today with a friend, and after we came back from dinner and tried to load the game the saved file was gone!! This is really amateuristic, doesn't someone at Ubisoft test these things before implementing them?

    Really feel like the day was wasted.....

    Yeah, I seem to have lost about 5 hours of play in Assassins Creed 2. I finally gave up trying to reopen the game and went to continue where my progress had last been saved, but when I got to a new quest, the marker didn't show up on my map, so I went to a checkpoint where the game saves and then quit and reloaded the game, only to find out that my latest save was ALSO gone.

    Come on uPlay. This is what I would have expected from a low-budget company making games for a Windows 95. It's 2012, we have computing that can almost match the level of humans, this nonsense is simply unacceptable.

    2 times I've been able to resolve this issue. What I do when my recent saved game doesn't show up is, I uninstall the UPlay launcher and then run the game again. It will download the Uplay launcher again and I login to sync. Usually that still doesn't work, but logging out and back in one more time will make my recent games show up.

    But it is very annoying. I like being able to play at home and then go and play on lunch at work so the cloud saves are ok, but having to deal with this makes it not worth it. Only problem is, I've already started my campaign and so unless I want to start from the beginning, I have to keep saving to the cloud and dealing with this.

    Thumbs up Same problem here

    When having "Enable Cloud Save Synchronization" on saved games are killed at random.

    Sometimes I even see a 1 day old game. Restart the game since it's missing my 2 hours old game. After restart even the 1 day old game is gone and I only have a 2 day old save there.

    Don't know what your cloud software does, but it seems to be a thunder cloud of disaster. I do not use this feature anymore, others in this thread have said saving games actually works when this feature is disabled, so that's what I'm using.

    Do yourself a favour, just disable cloud saves until you have it fixed, and have it disabled by default.

    Most annoying feature ever, to lose ones games over and over.

    Saved games are gone!!!!!!!! this is unnaceptable. I'm highly disappointed and upset.

    I'm having the same problem. This is unnaceptable. When will ubisoft solve this problem?.

    Uplay takes longer to syncronize since the last two partches.
    In addition, some time I can not even start the game after clicking on "Play" from the uplay launcher.

    Please solve this once and for all.

    Yes, I can't even load my saves for when trying, it crashes the whole game. Every time. Any savegame. I can't even play a game I so desperately want to play. PLEASE, let us know your progress in fixing this?!

    For a company producing a game for so many, they're good at not saying anything at all. Don't you want us to play, or what? It's like going to a restaurant and ordering food, pay before you order, and getting the food cold, and you have no waiters to talk to, so you bitterly have to eat your food cold.
