Just had an extremely disappointing support session with Ubisoft Support over the loss of my saved games and game progress for Heroes 6, which ended up not solving my issues, but giving me more problems BEYOND the game with generic and un-related suggestions like updating my display drivers and clearing my autoexec list. In the end, my issue still remain unresolved, and was forcefully closed with the following politically correct reply:-
"Thank you for your feedback. We are continuing to investigate these problems and do hope to have some additional information soon. Once we have more info, we will make sure the information is available on the support pages of our website."
That left me with one of 2 options:
a) wait indefinitely till they do as they promised.
b) replay all of my campaigns (all 4 of them!) to recover my lost game progress, which means all the past hour have been for mothing
Seriously, both of these options are so fantastic that I'm hard-pressed to choose one...
Throughout the whole correspondence, there was no sense of any apology at all on how they have screwed up the game for people who respect their need to fight against piracy and the like, and support their cause by not going to "alternative means of access".
Would like to hear some thoughts on your gaming experiences with Ubisoft and their support for your issues, before THIS thread gets closed down ;-)
