Flags, Templars, Investigation missions without the HUD would also what I would be refering to..

Flags should go burn in a fire then the ash should be burned again. I hate those things. But they still are collectibles, not side missions ;p
Templars fall under collectibles, collectibles that fight tho...

Was there ever any reward for collecting all the flags? My friend told me you get the crossbow seen in the trailer. I don't trust my friend for anything anymore.

Friend + Lies + Almost making me spend hours collecting those flags = One Dead friend.

There is no crossbow in the game. If there was, I would have been the first too collect those flags. Only reward is the achievement or trophy.

Yeah, I was just curious because there was a reward for flag collection in AC2, I believe (The Auditore Cape).

But PS3 does not have trophies, yet I still collected them...

While we're discussing collectables, I thought brotherhood presented the most incentive to collect everything and complete each mission carefully.

Earning 100% sync was one of the best moments of my Assassin's Creed career.
