Are we still calling this lag?

If this is just lag I want to be able to move out of the way of a nade like that. Left side of the video, just after i tossed the nade but before i zoom in. IGN: RSCQBv.
I am not accusing any one of hacking. If you want to call this lag then a ping cap is needed. Maybe it is a new ability, superman style.

I can beat Ecuador. I have met people in the NA beta playing from Norway, New Zealand, and Argentina.

Isn't a ping cap pretty easy to implement. Also difficult communicate when half of your team speaks a different language.

I'd support a ping restriction as long as it's not ridiculously low. I'd say anything with a one-minute running average of >600ms should be sent back to the lobby with a message indicating their latency was too high.

I think that the important thing would be to figure out the latency that disrupts play, if there is such an average or number. In the back of my head I was think 500ms based on previous experiences in other games. It would be nice to have data though. cheers

Ok, at first watching the vid, I thought the grenade was short....so as usual, I download vids and run them step by step through video software as it makes it easier to see what's going on.....Guess what?

Your nade was short by a mile...

Let me explain....you pull the nade and the arc shows up...but as you throw it, the arc icon of the grenade moves downward to the left indicating you moved your mouse as you were pulling back into cover and the grenade still hadn't released yet. Once the arc disappeared, you continue to move your mouse downward to the left a bit more. At this point the grenade clearly comes out, but it lands short of where you first aimed at.

Secondly, the explosion looks weird at full speed because not only did you catch it only in the upper left hand of your screen, most of the explosion was blocked/distorted by the bad transparency of the chat, energy, health bar windows....just to the right of those windows where the screen is clearer, you can see the explosion is clearly closer to you on the other side of the wall from you that it is to the target...

So bottom line, it was just a bad toss and wasn't even close to the target...which explains no damage done to the target..no lag issues here...

I believe he was referring to the Flash-style semi-teleport the opposing player pulled, rather than the lack of damage. Looks like lag to me.

Ok so you totally missed the point of this vid. It's not the nade toss or damage it's how fast he ran away
