Can anyone tell me how if possible to use my saved game data from game build 1.0 to build 1.1?

I have patched the game and have tried everything to get it to work. The game save data will only work again if I re-install back to pre patch as it creates a different folder number when I start the game after moving my old data into my documents ubisoft folder.

And does this mean that when the new patch arrives that nobody will be able to use their old save data?

I would be grateful if the forum managers could look into this. Thanks.

Edit: What does everyone think about the volumetric lighting while using patch 1.1?
