WTF with the UCAV?!?!?! | Forums

So let me see. Hit level 50 and everyone gets a UCAV and then the game plays out with everyone flying there UCAV and shooting each other????

whats the counter to this besides NOT PLAYING this game?

The UCAV has 6 grenades, it takes 2 normally 3 grenades to kill someone so someone with a UCAV so it gets 2 kills. If someone selects claymores they get 2 so that is pretty much 2 guaranteed kills when they are well placed. If someone uses a under barrel grenade launcher they get 2 rounds so that is pretty much 2 guaranteed kills. If someone puts out a well placed sentry gun, that can shoot till it is destroyed, so it is capable of multiple kills.

What I am getting at is the UCAV is no more dangerous than other equipment, it just seems annoying. I have much more success with a standard UAV and a team that listens, watches and knows to attack the enemies I light up for them.

Like meathead_79 said, there is one less person running to the objective and they are sitting still while they fly the UCAV so they can be hunted easy.

There are plenty of things that can be complained about in the game *cough* SERVERS *cough* but when it comes to weapons and equipment there is way to counter or be defensive, you just have to learn those ways

In the battle of UCAV vs. Sentry Gun the UCAV loses big time.

The Sentry Gun is your best UCAV deterrent, it prioritizes UAVs and UCAVs as primary targets and blows them out of the sky.

Not to mention the Sentry Gun has unlimited ammo and will continue to kill on its own even when you're dead.

To me, picking the UCAV over the Sentry is just silly.

Well as someone already said, that is one less person in the game. Since they can't luanch from their spawn finding them is pretty easy.

Thank you very much!!! I will try and learn some tactics to survive. Siege mode is the hardest hit by this eqipment though because there are no respawns and objective play doesnt matter when you can get easy kills

Now. stun mines on the other hand ... I love these, love the sound the character makes when they get stunned, it cracks me up all the time

it take THREE shots to kill you..... THREE, they are a massive target, and you KNOW when they are looking at you, how much more do you want? I wont tell you to "emp it", i'm gonna tell you to take your head of your ***, i'm tired of people making the SAME thread about the same things. I have encountered them roughly 5 or 6 times, the first time got me because i thought it was a a UAV, now i double check and make sure it's a UCAV, then i shoot it down. Done and done.

For real. Even if it surprises you with the first grenade, you can still shoot it down before it kills you.

I only died once by one and it was because I was in one spot (getting the objective of course) and thought the grenades were coming from the enemies GLs

totally agree with this. another thing i hate with this game is inevitable spawn kill.. when you spawn on a squad-mate, it takes time to load (much longer if host is f***ed up) then by the time you spawn you're already dead. i suggest that when you deploy on a squad-mate, you should be relocated to a hidden spot. some players don't even have to get level 50 to get the UCAV because of the squad exploit. at level 1, I already have a tuned-up level 32 weapon.
