In regards to mine placement man, the only thing I tell some of the other people I play with is to think about where they're putting them so that they are:

1.) effective

2.) not susceptible to random EMP grenades

3.) in a location that can give a little cover when you go in and hack them

Both points 1 & 2 go for all placed equipment (stun mines, claymores, sentry guns, jammers & ammo boxes). I don't really use cameras anymore but they could fall into that category as well.

Not that I support people letting their equipment play the game for them, but...

Number 3 can backfire. It gives the enemy team plenty of cover to revive their teammate. Back when I used the Scout, I placed my stun mines out in the open, so that if I got a stun, the person had no chance of getting back up. My teammates would have good sight-lines on him, and the enemy team couldn't just run out there and revive them.

I liked the video, and I play as an SMG scout with stun mines a lot as well, but some points I'd like to make:

- if you had a stungun with you and not a noobtube you could have gotten at least 3 data hacks. The stungun is a much more useful secondary imo
- I didn't really see you support teammates capturing opjectives and giving confidence. You seemed a bit more focused on getting kills.
- winning this game was pure luck with that last HVT objective. Sure, it cancelled out the 2 times your team got it but the comeback had a big luck factor to it

Still, good game, and I will check out more videos you put online in the future

I used to rock the stun gun and I think I'm going to go back to it. I made a video on the GL to decide if it could be used for good, or if it was just a tool of the devil, and i found it really helpful for knocking people off objectives, so I kept it. Those situations seem to be too infrequent though, and I just start using it to kill people. I will make the switch back to the tazer.

You really don't think I played the objective? I captured the last 2 out of 3 for my team. Sometimes ill say to them that I will go ahead and try to stymie the enemy while they cap, or get a jump on setting up a perimeter. Sometimes it works, sometimes it backfires because they could have used the extra gun. I really try to put myself in a good position to defend the objective, but hey, we all make mistakes.

About the HVT at the end, I consider it poetic justice for our team getting HVT twice and getting a host migration while we were in control of an objective. Besides, they had another chance to win, but had to come to our side, just like we had to come to their side a bit earlier. We pulled it off, they didn't. I'd like to think that my data hack at the end helped.
