    Grim: If Jadid dies, the mission was for nothing!

    Another Story conflict I want to discuss a bit deeper or ask how you think of that situation.

    I know Redding said something about this already and I know it's a demo too, but I don't think the dialouges were just written for the demo. So the conflict I see here is that Grim is warning Sam to get Jadid alive and he even confirms it to Grim that he knows why they are there and that she shouldn't worry about that. Yet, he goes in there even shoots at Jadid holds the weapon up to him so he is very well able to kill himself. Why would Sam use the weapon instead of his bare hands (or his knife) if he knows that he needs him alive? He did use the knife previously in the other interrogation too, didn't he? Why does he use the pistol when he is very aware of him being an important person they need and one they need alive?

    That's a good question and I think that Redding mentioned that Sam still has his own decisions, as in Conviction. This was like a decision about killing or spearing Dalia in PT. I'll try to find more.

    That's not a decision (at least to my knowledge). Redding said that you will see some twists and that might be one.

    Perhaps I'm wrong, but the part you mentioned might be this at 7:00?

    It's possible Sam didn't think the guy would kill himself. He did look shocked after that happened.

    @Andre

    I have no idea...maybe Sam thought that a gun would be more threatening?

    I REALLY wish this game has Picture-in-Picture...so I can see Grim facepalming everytime Sam does something similar....with Kobin and that new CIA guy rolling their eyes at Sam's action/dialogues.

    This above suggestion would absolutely make the game GOTY material...

    IDK why but New Sam reminds me of Archer (the TV series spy..not SCC Archer)..d-bag spy with mommy issues

    this bring up a related question, could this be the result of you draws your gun and choose to breach, so a more action cliche scene happened, Can we not breaking into the room and shoots? if we not go for gun action route (blow the door or kick trough the window), can we just wait or lurk our target to outside of the room and grab him?(then he commit suicide) if we dont call down the airstrike will those two guards will not show up and let you get your target whos inside the room alone?
    if not and those two guards must be put down, thats another point lost on devs.

    Another good question, those I don't think it will happen, I mean different cutscenes ?!, with different all together outcome ?!, that would be great, so hardly possible, especially by Ubisoft.

    Yes he was surprised but I was thinking of the situation why Sam is threatening Jadid with his pistol? I do think Sam wouldn't do it with a pistol because there always might happen something. After all he needs Jadid alive, so they planned to kidnap him anyway (why would they need him alive anyway?)

    I mean he shot him once already, why going up to him and threaten him with a pistol? If he wouldn't tell anything, he may do it in the Paladin. After all it seems they wanted to kidnap him.

    Well, we don't know why but they needed him alive. So I assume (as I did above) that they want to kidnap him. If he wouldn't say anything there, you get him to a save point first (at least that's what I think organisations like 4E would do when they got their target person). This "twist" actually reminds of the chase in Conviction, where you could never reach the guy but only see how he dies.

    Funny. He actually reminds very slightly of the SCC Archer. Maybe that's just me making it up. A few already said Archer does look just like Eric...

    I would love if I could choose how to approach that interrogation but since the narrative design seems to followe the one of Conviction, I don't think this will happen.
