Don't know if this has been mentioned already, but one of the most frusterating things about GR was the inability to move over terrain that a normal human could (i.e. low sloping rocks, etc). It limited the range of motion and it really wasn't a good idea as it detracted from the realism. I hope the range of motion in GR2 is not nearly as restricted. That's one thing I loved about BF1942 was how you could move basically anywhere a regular human could, but if a slope was too steep you wouldn't be able to climb it, or you'd fall back down.

Anyway, however the mapping is done, I really do hope it allows a wider range of realistic motion.
