Well, you can turn 4E into a business. As the head of 4E, you're in charge of buying "inventory" to improve the efficient of the company. Use the money to buy new weapons, buy new recruits (payroll btw), buy new vehicles, etc. Though, doesn't the purchasing manager do these?

It may be more efficient to just have money at the end of a mission to satisfy all players. However, if it is going to be challenge based, I guess it has to evenly spread out to accommodate all players. I guess you can look at GRFS challenges. It seems to be balanced out for stealth and action players though GR has never really been about stealth plays.

I guess getting money has to be about stealth plays, I mean it is Splinter Cell. BTW, it seemed that Conviction was pretty balanced in the challenges or PEC so Blacklist may have something similar.

Besides, I guess the devs can figure out how to balance out the money system for all players.

I don't particularly like money system, look at Black Ops........lol......I just don't like spending money and having to pay for my unlocks. I want to earn them or just be given them.

I'd rather there not be unlocks for multiplayer. It feels unfair to me. I wish everyone is equal at the start of the game and stay equal...the only deciding factor being skill as opposed to someone having a faster hack speed, a portable EMP that not every spy has, etc. although I guess it doesnt matter as spies will always be on the same team and mercs always will be so spies have to avoid the possible equipment of mercs. I guess it's not the worst thing ever but just having access to better guns in CoD seems so cheap.

    Anyway...thats cool.

You get points (as a Ghost). Alternatively you can take those 3 guys out quickly and efficiently without them alerting anyone else. You get points (as a Panther). OR you can throw a grenade and blow those 3 enemies up at the same time and get points (as Action).
Yeah I do think it will be that way too.
Would rather see them giving Stealth approaches more points and Splinter Cell approaches the most though. But that's just me maybe.
I would do the same for Assassin's Creed. Someone who plays like a real Assassin gets the highest score.

At least it's better than having to level up to unlock stuff, now the more you play, the more money you get, enabling you to buy the equipment that suits your need, instead of waiting to reach level 30 to get that cool equipment you really want.

Yeah that's great. EPEC = Enhanced PEC (System)

    Hmmm... EP(I)C?

Regarding the Stealth Shoes...that sounds extremely stupid.

I'm pretty sure Sam would get the sneakiest boots from the get-go. 4E would be equipped with the best tech from day 1...with slight variations depending on the mission parameters.

I think the reward points should go into weapons and suit customization instead of buying entirely new equipment like stealth gloves and shoes. You have a standard 4E top-of-the-line LBV...you can then choose to add more or less armour..get more pouches tailored onto it or keep it light for more maneuverability.

Kind like SCC's PEC...the uniform was basically the same...the difference was that the PEC attachments made some visual changes..distinct enough to be noticeable..but all part of a modular suit.

Andre...no, I'd love if they made stealth the top priority but I just don't see that being the case. All stealth games are trying to open the experience up and get a broader audience....

Dishonored and Hitman are doing this the right way, SC is....not. At least it doesn't appear to be as of now.

    That sounds incredibly stupid.

Fourth Echelon isn't a PMC, it's a black ops unit that answers directly to the President of the United States. Shouldn't they have a blank check for all the equipment they need?

That's right it's nonsensical to set up a blacker-than-black ops unit and then not give them the gear they need to do their job especially when it's something as basic as shoes.

Maybe there will be a minigame where we play as Sam the Scout Leader, going door to door with boy scouts selling cookies to raise money for 4E.
