Other way around. Ubisoft picked this middle ground between tactical shooter and arcade run and gun shooter, much like the now deceased games like Operation Flashpoin Red River and Socom 4.

Old Ghost Recon fans find this game too arcadey and dumbed down.
CoD fans find this game too hard for their brains.

They're appealing to an audience which doesn't really exist, proven by the dumbing down of Operation Flashpoint and Socom which once had an extremely strong fan base...

I agree....But IMO i still think Dragon Rising is more Ghost Recon than GRFS!!! I played all the Ghost games and Socom games and i am afraid there will not be a similar tactical game like them in a long time....

Socom will rise again...
Sony still owns the license, just Zipper is gone.
Honestly though they deserved to be shut down after the piece of **** socom 4- however I think that was more Sony's fault (As the publisher setting the requirements) than the developers.

I don't get what is so hard for developers and publishers to understand, instead of making some cheap imitation of CoD/BF just remake the core of the game they have done before with a few minor tweaks and alterations.

Dynasty warriors is one of my fave series to date for that reason- people say it is repetitive and it is but it works and they have a dedicated fanbase as proven by their continued existence after 40+ games (DW,SW,WO) that all use the same formula, and when they did change something and went down the casual route (DW6 used heavy attacks instead of charge attacks) their fanbase got pissed, so in DW7 they corrected it and went back to the old formula and are still selling games- next one is DW7:Empires (Jan release).

Developers and Publishers need to realise it is the hardcore series fanatics that keep game companies in business, not casual gamers.

Yeah I liked Dragon Rising and it's sales were good because it stuck to one particular audience and genre. It was like a more basic mill sim but still a mill sim never the less, and the only of it's kind on this generation of consoles so I applaud Codemasters for trying.

Because the Call of Duty and Battlefield franchises pretty much have the console shooter market cornered. That isn't to say this game won't have its niche community, which isn't bad by the way.

Fact will not change .Me i really like the game ,do i have i issues yes ,but he doctor said i will get over it in time.
Back on track ,TEAM WORK always agood 1 FPS 3PS mic ,dont back out ,most off all fun in pub lobbies ,
u want serious clan games check the forums , voice your PRO's & CON's . IF we dont nobody else will.
