    RIP Andy Griffith

Just got word that Andy Griffith has died at the age of 86. I grew up watching him and identifying with Opie, as we were the same age. There are very few people in the entertainment industry that impress me, but Andy was in a class of his own. RIP Andy and thanks for the oh so many wonderful memories and laughs. You will never be forgotten.

I used to love watching the whole Mayberry clan, then there was Matlock, a very talented man. Google up some of Andy Griffith before he was on mainstream. Great stuff!

I few of us are old enough to remember the golden days of TV. Ed Sullivan Show, Jack Benny, Red Skeleton, just to name a few. AG appeared on all of them in skits and singing and playing music.
Not to mention No Time for Sargent 's and that **** talking mule Francis, forget the name right off. He was part of America that is long gone.
