optimus is NVIDIA switchable graphics. It switches between a graphics card from NVIDIA, ex GT540 on a laptop to an IGP (Integrated Graphics Processor) Intel HD 3000 to lower power consumption when the graphics card aint needed.

What I am asking is if Intel HD 3000 is your only graphics processor or not? Do you have a NVIDIA card? or only HD 3000?

How do i get rid of dx11, cant find it in uninstall programs or in revo uninstaller.. Also do i need to scale down to a differnt version of directx then? Also i updated my graphics drivers for intel HD3000. The game gets stuck just after the dropping bullets load at the startup..although the YETI dump error is gone now..but i cant seem to get any further

I found a solution that worked for me(im on windows 7).
Info: I got this error after playing the game for a couple of days, and already had a profile created. I do not know if this will work for those who have not yet played the game.
Also, the words in all capitol letters are unique to your computer (i.e. your comp profile name, and the name of your account)

    1. Go to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier\profiles\PROFILENAME. If PROFILENAME does not exist, create a folder with whatever you want your profile to be named.
    2. There should be a number folder there ^, but i think the number is randomized (mine was 4169) .
    3. Go into that numbered folder and delete the "profile" document.
    4. Start your game. You should be prompted to create a new user name.
    5. The game should work now, but if you had this error after already playing the game (like me) then continue with these steps.
    6. After creating a new username return to C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier\profiles
    7. There should be a new, random-number folder there, in your new PROFILENAME folder.
    8. Lastly copy the save file from the SavedGame FOlder in your original number folder to the SavedGame FOlder in your new number folder.
    9. Hopefully this will work for you. Good Luck
