I have to agree with CDSOTO on this one. My mental barrier is strong, and no matter how good the item is, $15 for a single item is very difficult to rationalize for me.

One thing you didn't take into account is that the prices will be tripled when the game goes open beta.

The US will have the same prices in the open beta. It was missed to adjust the prices in due time and they didn't want to do it retroactively during the payment tests.

Then be prepared to donate more. You see that is one of the big problem with the gaming industry today. They set a price and although high, we tend to justify them with whatever logic and buy in mass. For example map packs for multi-player games. When you buy a game for $50 to $60 you usually get single campaing, 10+ multiplayer maps and multiple game modes. Then a month down the road they charge you $15 for 3 to 4 "new" maps. That is a quarter of the original price for less than 10% of the original content and most gamers just fall in the trap.

I will take a conservative approach... Decide to buy coins if I find it reasonable (currently they are not and less if they hike prices). Like I said, I like this game a lot and would like to support it but they have to meet me and other that think like me at least half way. Otherwise they will loose a large fraction of players.

The chart looks like a good refference guide, but the one thing missing, is the Cost to Character Level Ratio. For example, you have the Sentinel SV listed in the Red and the ratio is 7.50. Now personally I think for the level requirement and the cost for that gun is a lot better then whats shown, and you will use that gun until your high enough and have saved enough money for the MSR.

A red ratio does not mean the gun is bad. It means that it's better to earn the RP for it and buy it than spend GC. It's not saying the gun is bad, it's saying it's not as worth spending your GC on if you can avoid it.

All the sniper rifles are expensive on the GC side early on, meaning you should buy them with the RP instead of with GC.
