now that nvidia is installed again with stereoscopic 3d drivers and settings i might be able to set it on the game too ,

where is that steam configuration file for this game again ?

edit: found the config file, edit to True , still in game its grayed

remark , stereoscopic usually works automaticaly or with toggle key on all my games , cod , bf , etc with success , on this game i can see the options of depth etc of stereoscopic options ( interlaced ) but no 3d

    update :

updated nvidia drivers to some new beta drivers and it now works

i was amazed, i say congratulations to devs

i thought cod 4 was the best so far followed by bf series and burnout ultimate , but this game on my 3d setup is amazing and best of all , it doesnt take many frames away ( where as bf3 loses half frames or something - i guess i need to recheck bf3 3d fps with the new drivers if it improves frames with 3d on )

i apologise for the lies iv said , this game on interlaced 3d is super

What drivers are you using to play in 3D?

    Do you have a link?

    Hey singleghost,

I'm using a passive 3D display that comes with the glasses as well. I'm using the latest Nvidia Beta drivers from their website and the game is unplayable in 3D. The shadows are all goofy. Are you playing with the Steam version? Did you create a custom resolution to bypass the 24hz lock?

I can't seem to get it to work. Maybe you can help me out.

    Thanks!

greets , on my screen to make this to work i have to play it at native screens resolution - which is max res for it 1680 1050 (perhaps on your monitor the 3d needs other resolution) , then i need to enable the 3d during the game with the shortcut ( iv changed shortcut to * on the numpad ) the video link above shows what to do in respect to nvidia settings.

nvidia settings also have a test option, if u can see the images there on 3d it should work on your game too

my speculation is that you need to adjust your resolution of the game with your screens native 3d resolution settings , or image in 3d gets distorted by lines and what not

p.s. yes steam version , but i dont think that matters. i dont know about the 24hz clock i dont think frequency matters on passive 3d ( perhaps on 3d vision : which is a device for other type of 3d ).

click that video above - u will see on the nvidia control panel screen a button that says Test stereoscopic 3D...
if u can make that work and you see the images and the 3d ok then u are ok and your 3d is setup, trial test resolutions there to make the 3d look ok on the tests
