Here's my perspective on getting frequent lag-free games. I may be wrong but its helped me and my friends out.

1. If you have a party of 6 and join a quick-match do not leave the game because you are separated. You will be together next game. Every time you leave it increases the chances of finding that laggy game because the game just looks for open spot no matter what the game is so your party might join an open game where one side left because of lag.

2. If you get into a good game do not leave because you lost just stick it out and play harder next time or let the other team get tired of beating you (lol). They will most likely leave.

3. If you play with a lot of friends try to form a squad and play "Squad Quick-match" . I've hardly ran into laggy games playing there.

4. If you have a friend you are trying to pick up in your party(ie party of 6) keep an eye on the Scoreboard during and after the game and wait til you see a spot open and have your friend ready to join at a moments notice. Remember that Red Storm Locked the 7th and 8th Spots on both sides of the team ever since they increased party size to 6(Might of cause matchmaking problems). So you have to keep an eye on the 6th spot for either side. Make sure he/she is ready to hit that "join in progress" button ASAP so that increases there chance of getting in.

Also. Set a static IP for your Xbox and forward the proper ports to make your NAT open.
