Wait how does that work? Do they just capture the movements and not use the shape or structure of the face?

pretty much yeah, the same way they can do mocap for animated movies. You just have to apply the movement of the trackers to a point on a body/face (mesh) and tell it to follow.

It's probably not a skin, more likely it's just a choice of clothing as a replacement for armour

That is a possibility. If I remember correctly, they did say they're going to replace armor for different types of clothing.

What? I think he looks fine. Not everyone is blessed with the rugged good looks of Ezio Auditore, King of the Womanizers.

I personally am just fine with how Connor looks, but I'm more than fine that some are not. Ubisoft is branching out. Not every male hero should be handsome, outgoing and funny (Connor, serious and collected); not every woman hero should be a scantily clad Caucasian (Aveline, a half-French, half-African dressed from head to toe).

Yeah but Connor's voice actor is who I was thinking is ugly. Connor looks good in some shots. In SOME.

Connor doesn't look ugly at all, in some shots he does look "Different" but they have kept with the same rule with all the Assassins, Tanned skin, shadow over the face, Slightly diamond jawline
