    Device balance across classes

    Having played mostly recon until this phase... I find it odd that the other 2 classes can only activate their devices basically one time. Once they are fully charged.

    Why is this?

    now, I am complete recon advocate as you would know if you have ever played with (or been frustrated by) me. I LOVE the recon devices, and cannot imagine only being able to use them once per FULL charge. That being said, why the hell cant I use my blitz or microwave the same way?

    It is not game breaking to do so... and most of the time I blitz, I have about 60% left over after I Rhino someone. And I CANNOT activate again until I wait the obligitory 2 to 3 min until it is full again. This just does not fit with what recon is able to do. Namely : Use my abilities, at will, until I drain the battery.

    Recon can cloak, and cloak, and cloak again. And see through walls in quick bursts for almost the entire map if they manage it properly. But every other class is seems to have a serious handicap regarding these tools! Was there a serious reason for this that I fail to see?

    This is NOT a recon hate thread. I love mine, and surely dont want my abilities changed. And I am only up to lvl 13 on my Assault (and have almost all of my acheivements completed), so any feedback from a long time blitz user or otherwise would be appreciated. Mainly, I love to fry people with the microwave, and it seems a HUGE waste to activate it for 10 sec or so till I am in place or get a Heat assist, and then have to wait FOREVER to use it again even though I have a practically full bat.

    Blitz used to run as a toggled ability. Apparently it was too powerful.

    Being able to repeatedly pop Aegis or Blackout would be op as hell.

    Being able to Blitz one guy, deactivate it, kill the guy, repeat, 2-3 times, would be extremely OP.

    HEAT is really the only other ability I can think of that wouldn't have been overpowered with this feature. I use the past tense because HEAT has been buffed more than enough to make it too good for the ability to turn it off and on again.

    LOLOLOL Toggleable HEAT would have been horrible for the role it was meant to do.

    Make then last a shorter amount of time (apart from shield) and have them be turn on when at least 25% powered. Then you can use 1-4 Blocks whenever you "use it". When you turn it off mid-block, then it stops and uses the remainder of the active cell.

    Right now the Heat and others is just BADLY over powered.

    1. Sniper cloak needs to be 100% only and actually allow firing.
    2. When under heat, it MUST be allowed to fire back with damage being taken and view obstructed. (not the currently in place linear damage model)
    3. Shield needs to have a damage amount. Say... 500-700 Health. When people shoot through it, then it explodes and they can take out the guy. Also, a nade should kill a shield.
    4. Make it more evident/clear that when you buy lvl 2 of the devices, you can upgrade them with mods. Add level 3, 4, 5.... etc. so that multiple mods and stat/duration upgrates can be allowed. NOT DAMAGE, but duration and vision blurring, shield strength (maybe add 50-100 or a double shield or one that stops nades as well or different shapes or one that transmits a shield to all teammates in the area but is only 3-5 seconds long or a deployable shield to cover an area)

    Seriously... These need to be adjusted.

    If everything is overpowered, isn't it realistic enough to say that... everything isn't overpowered?

    I think you blew his ****ing mind.

    By "isn't overpowered" Compass means balanced. Balanced is good.
