Disconnected from every game I play

Everytime I join a game I run for 5 seconds and get disconnected from the game?

Is this a fail release from Ubi?

Any advice on how to fix please?

Also how do I select servers in my own region like australia?

    Hi, please see here http://ubisoft.custhelp.com/app/answ...a1ExLTJZX2s%3D

Matchmaking does take in to account region and will try and put you in the best matched based on this, but you are not restricted to one region.

I've only been able to play 1 full multiplayer game since release. Other than that I get the persistent "Connection to server lost". Anyway I am from New Zealand so add me to Uplay if you are from Oz Springbokkie.

I cannot for the life of me understand why Devs choose to do this. I suspect it is laziness, lack of desire; they don't want to develop the multiplayer because a) Ghost Recon Online already exists to tackle that market and b) the market is already flooded with multiplayer games so to develop the future soldier multiplayer would mean more resources without a clear idea if this multiplayer would be successful. Its too risky so instead just tack on a multiplayer with limited options for users to reduce cost (maintenance, updates, server space).

Why don't Devs allow users to host their own matches with the servers merely hosting the player data (stats etc). In this way users could define their own match options. Allow them to name their server with a list users can scroll through. Then we could put "Australian Server". Users would know where hosts were based allowing them to choose games that are close to them reducing lag and disconnection problems.

The problem with this is that more often than not it will connect you to a game that is so far from your region that it will negatively impact player experiences. This is not something game developers should be encouraging. In short this method of connecting players is ineffective and will only ever work in certain instances.

I can't describe my frustration. I purchased the Collectors Edition only to find that the multiplayer portion is unplayable due to persistent server disconnection issues. While the campaign mode is quite good having a poor multiplayer is disappointing and indicative of the typical attitudes toward the development of multiplayer content in video game industry today.

Just a bit of help to try, I was getting the same issues and then opened my NAT on my router and have not had the issues since. Meaning opening or port forwarding ports on your router and changing the MTU

Hi ichiee, which Ghost Recon do you have? If Ghost Recon: Future Soldier the PC patch is coming on Monday.
