Thread: Anyone else wanting drum support? | Forums

    Anyone else wanting drum support?

So, now that bass suport is almost here, it seems the next logical step would be drums, and maybe even keyboard support. So my question is are you guys looking forward to getting into other instruments? Or are you all about the 6-string? Me, my favorite part of Rock Band was the drums, so I'd be in heaven if my favorite game (Rocksmith) could give me the best of both worlds. I say bring on the drums and keys!

I won't lie, drums would be a great addition. Sadly I have no extra room whatsoever for a drumset. Drums were(are) my favorite part of Rockband too.

Keys I found less entertaining that I expected...

I think they could improve the singing a bit in RS, but I think it was nice of them to include the ability in the first place.

I would rather RS first focus on really getting the guitar experience nailed. There is still so much to do with guitar. Rock Band pro drums are really fun, and work with any MIDI drumkit already, I have hundreds of songs for Rock Band on drums, and am loving playing Rock Band with my TD9-kx2 kit.

No interest in either drums or keyboards for me. I also would rather they concentrate on getting the guitar and bass right.

I am interested in drum and key support, but I agree that they should primarily focus on guitar and bass for now.

But in the long run, I think there's a reason they went with the name "ROCKsmith" and not "GUITARsmith"...

I am open to try any instrument with this friendly interface rocksmith provides.

Yeah, multiple instrument support would be exciting, but I think that's too much to ask at this point. Maybe even for RS2. Maybe in another year or so it'd be prudent.

Sure why not? I always wanted to learn how to play piano/keyboard but never picked it up. Drums would be pretty cool too. As long as the interface keeps improving and they don't neglect the overall experience and go quantity over quality I would be on board for anything.
-So Ezio...where does an Assassin learn guitar these days?
    -Rocksmith...

the problem with drums is somehow finding an affordable but not terrible electronic drumkit to bundle with the software
