Okay I have a suggestion that has been working well on my gaming community forums and I thought maybe it is a good idea to start something similar here. We started an area called Member Spotlight on my gaming forum. Basically there are a set of questions asked to a member, some about the game and some a bit personal or not game specific. The member chosen answers whatever questions they feel like (preferably all) and we then post it up. This gives the other members in the community a chance to really get to know who we are and create a better atmosphere in the community.

The way we are doing this is to start with the leaders and then work our way through the members who choose to participate. I have one member who keeps charge of the whole Spotlight and it seems to be well received.

This could be a great way for new members to get to know the older members and leaders. I would think to start with the CMs/GMs if interested, then the currently Community Leaders that have been chosen, then maybe move to the CB1 members, and so on...

A lot of new members just see some of us as a number in the game. A lot of us who were in CB have reached level 30 or are about too, and from listening on VoiceComms I always hear the same thing. Ooh get him on our Fireteam he is a high level, or we got this look its a level 30 guy with us, etc...

So what are your thoughts on the idea?

That's an interesting idea. I'd support a trial run.
