Mode not supported on HDTV monitor?

So whats with this on the Steam PC version? my PC is hooked into my Home Theater, and when I launch GRFS my tv goes to black and displays that message. None of my other PC games do this. I can't force it to launch in windowed, or in any compatible resolution. Ubisoft needs to make this right, otherwise I will not be buying another one of your products, If you don't want to support the PC, then just don;t make games for it, they are continually disappointing. BTW my PC is no slouch, Ivy bridge core i5 3570k, and a GTX 670, so my PC should have no problem.

I got it guys, if you have another PC you can remote desktop to you will be able to select the correct resolution in the game. The default is something stupid like 1200x700 so no wonder. I'm angry that I had to spend a few hours troubleshooting a game, where I have no problems with 99% of PC games out there. Step it up Ubi QA

Even easier than that.. just go to into the Documents\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier folder and edit the default.cfg file for the resolution you need. (Had the same problem myself until I discovered that file.)

That's odd. You should be able to open it up in notepad easily enough.
