What is happening with the 2X budget. Why isn't it working?

It has worked for me, it doesnt double the budget you already have, it doubles budget on that day for the things you do, like lab, is 50, you get 100. One of the Dr. favors, you would get 550.00 for completing, that day i got 1100. So thats how I and a few friends have seen it work, Tonight or tomorrow is my budget x2 day. Ill let you know if it works the same way again.

When I loaded the House app this morning the 2x budget was active. I ran a few labs and then made the mistake of leaving the application.

An hour later when I went back in it was no longer doubling the money on completed labs. I'm still in the 24 hour period and it isn't working.
