Ubisoft, Please, Implement The Old Splinter Cell's Save Feature In Blackllist!

I'm a great fan of all the Splinter Cell Games and I love the Splinter Cell's games and books. I started playing the year the original Splinter Cell was released and I loved it. I like very much all the Splinter Cell except Conviction, which I consider a great game but not as good as the previous games. There are lots of reasons because of which I prefer the Splinter Cell's Games before conviction, but one of the most important is that in Conviction there are only Checkpoints and you can't save. I hate this! In Conviction I'm forced to restart the game from the Checkpoint if I die. In the other Splinter Cells I can save multiple times and restart the game from the save I want: in this way I'm able to do everything I want into the game, even trying some cool stuff without "being scared" of having to restart from the Checkpoint if I die or do something wrong, which sometimes could mean I should play even 5 minutes before reaching the spot I died before, and maybe it isn't so easy to reach the spot, becoming very frustrating. The Save Feature, moreover, would allow to replay every part of a mission without playing the whole level before reaching the part you want to play again.

ATTENTION DEVS! Please, in Splinter Cell Blacklist add the Old Splinter Cell's Save Feature ( like the one used in Chaos Theory) and make the Checkpoints be just some "Auto Save" spots!

I think the PC version cannot not have the Old Splinter Cell's Save Feature. If it can't be implemented on console for any reasons, it surely can be implemented on PC, so implement it!

I'm sure there are other people that would like this feature to be implement!

Do you want this feature back, guys?

I would love to have Quick Save back.
Variable speed gives more control over your walk/sneak which in turn gives your animations a personal touch and increases re-playability. It is also tied directly into the AI sound system.
Analogue controllers where created to give you more control over your character and the Developers have a responsibility to use it.
For me it's a no buy without it.

If you're looking something special from Splinter Cell videos, (last my project was called Tactical Espionage from Chaos Theory - advanced ghost style), visit my fansite channel at this address: http://www.youtube.com/user/jaruto7?feature=mhee

Our ideas should serve as an inspiration for Ubisoft Torronto with new and innovative features in the right direction for Blacklist: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...e-in-Blacklist

We need a purist mode similar to what Hitman: Absolution have, but with our rules: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...40#post8582940

http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...list-Checklist Please support the checklist and hopefully Ubisoft will see the massive amounts of people who want to see certain, key features implemented.

Ubisoft... please add in a true variable speed system with an integrated sound system and if you have the time...other abilities, gadgets, and things from the first SC games such as split jump, etc.

It'd be cool especially if parts are as annoyingly frustrating as SCC where I tried so hard to do things stealthy and may have gotten through one section, messed up, had to try again and fail. If the game is more stealthy like classic SC (or can be) I dont mind only checkpoints like SAR -- I feel I overuse Quick Save and the Save anywhere feature and so I go through CT and DA way quicker. :/

Devs should read this! The old save feature of the original Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory and Double Agent was something really great!

I hate the check points, HATE THEM.

One of the best things they did with Chaos Theory was add the quick save and the save games so you can save when and where you want.

    It needs to come back.

I think adding manual saves will make it too easy. That's probably the only problem I have with Chaos Theory and Double Agent because I always saved it manually. It's like an instinct. If you take out a guard then you save after hiding the body so you don't have to do it all again. It takes the challenge away if you can just load a save file and do it again without getting caught. One of the reasons why I like Conviction is because if I screwed up I had to adapt and change the way I went about completing the mission. Loading a save file wouldn't have done that.

Personally I think if you do get caught in Blacklist then you should improvise, adapt and overcome. If you want that perfect score but you get caught then continue on with the mission but remember where you went wrong and get it on the second playthrough. Nobody does anything perfect the first time. So why should video games be any different?

.....^^^ simple solution, limit the player Saves
less save the higher the mode you play....also less Auto Check points again the higher level you play

this is will be a good start on adding some challenge to this game again

Second is make the AI, able to defend themselves ...their like Babies ...you fell really bad everything you kill one of them.
make the AI able to kill/own you on the higher level.

Third, M&E needs some big balancing issues.

if the Devs hits those 3 points, We have more fun

So??? If someone wants to abuse the system, shouldn't that be their decision?

Instead of forcing the player to play a certain way the game should give the player the choice of saving when they want or not to. It's up to the player to use a little self control on saving the game if they want to play that way.
