My Dell desktop has a NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 video card. It isn't one of their top of the line models, but I can run GRO at the highest settings, although I normally run on low setting because it gives a less grainy image on my monitor and the cursor control is smoother.

I'm talking about using the override settings in the Nivida control panel. I override all installed game by a fair amount. I have more than enough with 2 GTX580s. I was wanting to seel if I could get better antiasling. I still see edges running and so on.

Ah. Haven't had that issue. I just use the default settings on this system. For antialiasing they are:
fxaa off
gamma correction on
mode and setting app-controlled
transparency off
BTW, thanks for posting. Had a driver update waiting that I didn't know about until I went to run the cp.

John, old buddy !! Didn't see your sig of Sig the first time, hehe. Getting very old, sigh. On long distance scoop, I seeing little heads that ain't there. Causin me burn brass and give away my position with needless sound. I'm debating about install Nivida304 beta drivers. Is that what you talking about ?
Nah, it was just a routine update that came out on 5/22. Not sure why Windows didn't install it on update Tuesday this month, it normally handles the video drivers for me. Seeing little heads that aren't there? Haven't been participating in a CIA 'electric koolaid' test have you? lol Hoping that the patch takes care of the ghost statues that have been popping up randomly ingame. I emptied a whole clip into the first one I saw before I realized that it was probably a side effect of the dcs'.
Been having so much fun playing and testing that I haven't posted here before today. Did some mowing this am, take advantage of down time, now I'm ready to get back to 'work'.

Far as mowing goes I sold my last house in the 80s, condos are the only way to go,gives me more online time, hehehe

Tried city living, hated it. I'll take a hut in the woods any day over living in town. Fresh air, chirping crickets are the loudest sound you hear and dinner brings itself right into the yard. No neighbors and no traffic to hassle with. A ten minute walk gets me to my favorite fishing hole at the local lake. Since I retired in '02, I have plenty of time on my hands, especially since I only sleep about 4 hours a day.

John, raising the setting did help some. I'm going to put up to max and see what it looks like for a few matches. Also when you get a chance, hook your com up so we can hear in game.

According to the shipper website, my new headset should be here in about an hour. Will be nice to be able to communicate without stopping to type.
