Ok have posted my final score for this week - 119.5K
I just cannot keep a streak for longer than about 150 and I dunno why - this is beginning to bug me. It shows a serious deficiency in what I'm doing.
But I'm hitting my target % of 97% pretty regularly now so I guess I'm happy enough with this song. Just about...

Don't be so hard on yourself Kinch, 119.5K is right there at the top of the heap. Personally I've noticed more of those pesky yellow arrows on this song than I've seen in a long time (streak killers), so a few things I've been trying to reduce the arrows and in-turn get credit for the right notes:

1- Slightly de-tune red & yellow strings so they are just a hair flat, but still within the RS tuning specs.
2- Consciously focus on a lighter touch during the verses. My tendency has been to hammer the heck out of the strings in an effort to keep up with the 7-5-7 (yellow) 5-7-5 (blue) 7-7 (yellow) notes in the verse.
3-Note timing: As noted before and by Whagstrom in this thread, almost disregarding the video and focusing as much as possible on playing with the audio has yielded best accuracy and scores for me.

Also, as mentioned earlier in the thread, the Chorus has a sneaky-quick 2nd G chord strum that many of us never realized was there. It appears RS note detection will pick it up and give you credit for hitting it even if you don't play it (since it's so close in time with the 1st strum), but it's not a given that you'll always get credit for it and possibly that may be killing your streak there.

Regardless, 119.5K is a fantastic score...seems like you're ready for a MM run now.

I'm probably just about done with this song for the week. Just scored 105,473 @ 94% accuracy. Made a lot of improvement on chords this week, but still need to get a lot better.

    Also gave MM a couple runs. 1st was 187K @ 85% accuracy, 2nd was 203K @ 91%...pretty happy with that one.

Thanks Steam, I know this so well now that I can play it extremely delicately with almost no pressure at all with my fret hand. I also saw the note earlier about the double G so that's covered too. I just seem to fluff a note every now and again no matter how careful I am. I might try detuning slightly if I get a few minutes but I think at this stage I'm done for the week. I'll come back to it in a week or 2 when I fit my new Slinky cobalts and see what happens
As for master mode - I think I'm done with the song for now. I also don't like that it overwrites the nMM score. But we'll see... You made a good MM run I see!

I'm done with it too, I can't get past 101k. I make too many mistakes. The verse is pretty simple, but I always stumble afrer a few cycles.

Finally got a chance to get a few more plays in and got it up to 90,494.

The only part of the song I don't have leveled is the outro - it just doesn't like me. The intro was no problem but I don't know what I'm doing wrong on the outro - they're basicly the same except the last few notes which are actually easier than the bar chords! Oh well, I should have more time tomorrow to work on it a bit more - maybe I can eek out 95k.

    I'm off to a bar-b-q and fireworks!

Was going to participate this week, but the evil nasty storm took out power to half the universe here in DC, and no one knows when it'll come back. Tonight's low is around 80, so we got that going for us....

That's what generators are for- so you can keep jammin'! You could conceiveably use them for an ac unit or your fridge but a mans got to have his priorities.

Seriously though, hopefully your electric comes back on quickly. Mine was only off for an hour or two.
