so i have a question, i have been reading lots of coments and plots and storys on internet but i cant understand is michael good or evil?
plese help me.PS: i didnt play the game i am going to start in a two weeks, and sorry if i had some mistakes in speling.

He is a champion of light but very intolerant of other intolerant of those with a different worldview than his. Its not always as black and white as good or evil. Think of an intolerant religious zealot. Heroes taking the Blood path may end up as his ally while Tears heroes will likely become his enemy.

he cares for his own i.e. the worshipers of elrath among the empire and especially his fellow angels but beyond that his is extremy paranoid of anything else especially of the faceless and cate a dragon knight of malassa, the dragon of darkness, and is constantly haunted by the prophcy that in 3 years time the demons come and the faceless will rule the world. this drives him to orchestrate, with uriel and sarah, bring the demon invasion foreward by 3 years while the empire is strong and the demons arnt as prepared. alo he tasks sarah to use kiril to control the powers of chaos to enable him to destroy the invisible library to remove much of the faceless power (he dosent destroy it thou). so in summery he means well but is a very 'the end justiufies the means' type of person and a believer in the greater good over one individual.

the faceless are the servents of malassa the dragon of shadow similar to what the angels are to the elrath. the faceless sort of have a shared concious as everything that one of them learns is instantly shared to all the other through the invisible library. the invisible library is the focal point of the faceless race and the accumilation of all their knowledge.

The faceless are very gifted with all forms of magic, even light, but are expecially gifted with dark magic (not surprisingly) and use it to weave intricate illusions to accomplish their various goals such as using it to hide their members among the other races and to enchant the vally of shadows to make the invisble library nearly impossible to find and anyone who did try to breach would meet an army of enchanted zealots of the light. as servents of malassa they value all knowledge and have an affinity for secrets and forgotten things.

Earlier in the history of ashan there was a great war between the faceless and the angels known as the elder wars (the demons were also involved). in this war (probaly started by the angels in what they viewed to be a pre-emptive strike) many members of both races were killed however this proved more harmfull to the angels as any angel killed would also lose all their memories and experience whereas the faceless could share all their knowledge across all of their race this drove the angels to create the hall of memories to store all the angel souls of those fallen in battle. it can be speculated that on an individual basis one angel is able to outmach a faceless as while both sides took catastrophic losses the angels were still able to maintain a considerable number of them in ashan that would go on to force the soon-to-be empire to follow them in their worship of elrath while the faceless were driven even further to extinction than the angels (the angel population is still dangerously low) and forced to go into hiding. another explination of the faceless losing the war was that they were simply outnumbered or taken by surprise. Faceless military stratagy can be assumed to primarily consist of using illusions and shadow elementals along with enchanted followers to fight to play to the faceless strengths with the faceless themselvs rarly entering the fray especially now that their numbers have dwindled.

A time after the war the faceless took interest in a group of elves that had split away from the main monarchy in irhollan, after witnessing the group getting persecuted by both the other elves and the empire the faceless saw an oppertunity and convinced the leader of the elves to abandon sylana and instead follow malassa and go into the underground. this the elves did and eventually became the dark elves. it is believed the faceless did this to ensure that malassa would continue to have servents if something untoward happened to thire race simmerly to how the angels turned the humans from ylah to elrath.

All in all during the story of homm6 tend to present themselvs as benevolent and very devoted to their dragon god with their primary focous as preserving the 'twilight covenant' a ceasefire beween the folowers of elrath and malassa in the aftermath of the elder wars as the faceless would not be able to survive another onslaught by the angels. however other, morer sinister undertones have been detected especially in the final cutscene which shows a faceless making plans with a dark elf while complaining about being 'bound' by the covenant.

while nothing is confirmed there probably will be new towns in a future expansion (the pirates thing with crack hag is just dlc) probal they will be dungeon and academy

dlc is DownLoadable Content. its not quite an expansion but you pay for it. the dlc that will be relesed on july 12th is callled pirates of the savage sea and chronicles the adventures of crak hag a stronghold hero and has some dynasty weapons and heores.

Anastaya was manipulated into assainating her father by her lover uriel the archangel. uriel did this using a faceless artifact in the form of a hair comb he gave her that allowed him to control her. it is important to not that at this point uriel had been driven mad with grief as he had lost both his brother and mother in the elder wars centuries before, first micheal died and then his mother but not before blaming uriel for micheals death as micheal was her favourate son. it was this that led uriel to divise a plan for bringing back the fallen angels stored in the hall of memories using the souls of the dukes of the empire which had been reinforced through light magic and the angel swords. a few years before the start of the story uriel finally had a soul fit enough to house the soul of an angel. the duke was duke pavel grifin, father of slava, brother to sveltana and grandfather to anton, kiril, anastaya, irina and sandor. the angel brought back was micheal. now all uriel needed was a female soul fit enough to house his mother however micheal, a general of the angel armies and new leader of the angels became concerned with the phrophecy of the blind brothers that related to the demon invasion and the faceless controlling everything. as micheal died before the end of the elder wars he was not bound by the twilight covenant and thus was able to convine the other angels to break it and plot against the faceless as he was their leader and loyalty is one of the virtues of elrath. it was then noticed that the current duke of griffin, slava, had twins both with perticularly reinforced soul and micheal saw the potential of these one as a weapon against the faceles and one as a potential host for their mother (this was probably at uriels insistance) to that end he arranged for the twins to each be tutored by an archangel, anastay by uriel and kiril by sarah. also to increase the twins dependance on the angels uriel sent irna away to the wolf duchy in order to isolate them as anton was preocupied with becoming the next duke and sandor would have probably not spent much time with them anyway being bastard-born. finally when the twins were ready uriel used his power and the faceless comb to controll anastaysa to kill her father knowing that she would be killed for it and her soul used to ressurect aroura (uriel and micheal's mother). the death of duke slava was also engineered to alllow the angels complete control of their new weapon kiril as with his father dead and his brother having killed his twin the closed person to him was sarah the archangel who would go on to house a demons soul in him so he could control the powers of chaos and destroy the faceless. (he didnt know that he was getting a demons soul however). however anastaya soul would not be used to ressurect uriels mother as sveltana, her necromantic great aunt, had found her soul first and brought her back as an undead in order to get answers.
