at this point i would maybe say the intel, i have another thread open (dont wanna hijack yours) but i have a much higher end system, and i can barely run the game due to some something not working right

Video cards here are comparable. But this games are really CPU-limited and for some reason especially love Intels Nehalem/Sandybridge (all i3/i5/i7).

I wouldnt go for i3 though, even if its high 3.1 GHz processor, the i3 is more of a energysaver option. If you want gaming the i5 works but i7 is preferable.
