    Hey guys,

I've flagged this again. Hopefully there will be more of a resolution. We have implemented a fix for this problem which helped a majority of players. Unfortunately it looks like some of you are still suffering. Hang in there, and I'll keep flagging this until my mouse-clicking finger falls off.

Hi my name is lance I go by the name of EliminatorX. I downloaded Ghost Recon Online; after the download finish the download indicator begans blinking. I don't know if this is the reason the game won't lunch but it needs fixing. I live in Okland California. I don;t know if this is the problem but can anyone give me any information.

Well, it still won't download for me. Never got a chance to play it. Nothing will work, no one seems to be able to help.

I guess this is an early goodbye to Ghost Recon Online.

If you've been stuck downloading, and you tried uninstalling/reinstalling, there is another, more drastic thing you can try.

First, shut down launcher and any ongoing download.

Go to the drive where you installed GRO. I installed mine in my root HD, C:\\. There is a folder there named UBISOFT. If you look inside, the only folder should be GRO. Delete UBISOFT (or GRO) folder.

Now, go to your root drive (again, mine is C:\\). Documents and Settings\ <yourusername>\Local Settings\Apps there should be a folder named 2.0. Delete the folder named 2.0.

Now, you should be able to restart the launcher, redownload everything. and it should go much smoother.

BTW - if you wanted to install in a different drive, this is how you get to re-select what drive will be used.

If this does not work, the only other solution I can think of involves not only deleting these directories, but also the desktop icon for Ghost Recon Online (NCSA-Live). But, if you delete that icon, the only way to reinstall is through the main website, which has just now come back online.

You should start a trouble ticket. Run DXDiag and send that along. I've found the staff to be very responsive to the trouble tickets.

If you've done everything, and I mean EVERYTHING mentioned in the following thread and you're still having problems... There's something wrong with your system configuration. You're either missing .NET Framework, or it needs to be uninstalled/repaired, or your Internet configuration is extremely messed up.
